"Well, Gabriel, you have a very valid point. To top your point off with a cherry, I have no idea where I actually am nor which direction to go after I pass the gatehouse," I huffed, crossing my arms in front of my chest. As soon as I stopped talking, I heard a low rumble that quickly became a full-on belly laugh from Gabriel. He tried his best to control himself as he wiped the tears from his eyes.

He reached around me and opened the car door that I didn't even realize we standing next to. He gestured for me to get in as he replied, "Well then, you surely would have been in a pickle had I not been here to rescue you, huh?" He chuckled once more before shutting my door and making his way to the driver's side, sliding in with ease and grace. "Let's head back home where you can officially call it quits on this day," he suggested as the ignition roared to life, and he quickly maneuvered through the gate and sped toward the pack house.
