Renee's POV I awoke on the floor of the cell. It was now dark outside as there was no light coming through the small, barred windows of the basement. "Ugh" I groaned my whole body hurt, and my face felt smushed from laying on it. My hand went to the back of my head I could feel the dried blood in my hair but at least it felt like my head wound had closed. I peeled my face of the floor where it had been stuck in congealed blood. Then I pushed my body off the floor until I was in a sitting position. Epilogue Estherโs Point of ViewIt has been one year since the battle for Reneeโs life. After what happened I couldnโt bring myself to leave Southern Illinois. So much has happened and so much has changed. I almost didnโt get to the wand in time, and I guess for Victor I didnโt.
