His New Pack

Before I could step a foot forward, the woman flashes outside the convenience store with those items in her hands. Enough reason for me to follow her.

"Please, let go of me!" she screams the second I managed to grab her hand. When she confirms there is nowhere else to go for her, she drops her butt on the ground and began pouring into tears.

"I'm not going to hurt you, okay?" I said back, but I was the one who was worried because her wailing was all over the place. Humans might think I was doing something bad to her. "But, I have a question to ask you."

Seeing her alive and even recognizing me at her first glance gives me at ease even if she doesn't feel the same way. Then I stealth sniff at her to check if something is going on inside her.

The last thing I remember from the incident is that my claws leave her wounded while trying to save them. So, I grab her right hand by force and remove the plaster she covers it.

And I once heard from Alpha Dustine that our claws and fangs can either kill a human or turn them into one of us. How am I supposed to explain her ascending from the land of the dead when Razel and I were convinced she could barely survive after the fall?

To my surprise, my eyes scan no signs of a wound or even a scar on her right hand. There is no way she simply put a plaster on her arm if it doesn't have wounds or bruises. I can even smell her blood from the plaster. Enough proof that she cannot deny she did not get wounded.

"What happens to the wounds?" I added. "What happened to you after you fall into the cliff? Since when did you come back alive?"

I still have a few questions and concerns about her well-being but throwing them all in one blow might scare her furthermore. But why am I not sensing the wolf blood running through her veins right now?

Does that mean she remains a human after my claws sunk into her skin? I saw with my own eyes that she fell into a fifty-depth cliff. No ordinary human can survive that fall. Truth be told, her bones could have crashed into pieces.

Her expression suddenly changed from a scaredy-cat to a furious lioness. "Stay away from me or I'll scream louder," she said while removing the plaster from her hand.

"I know something is going on within you, Felise. And no one could help you but me. Not my brother, Razel. Neither are your parents." I said back, ignoring her threats.

Felise will be my way to get to Razel if he doesn't want to talk and see me. But from the way I sense it in her eyes, not everyone knows about what happened to her that night. She is terrified to confess to her parents what happened.

"Don't be scared," I added. "I can help you if you are having a hard time, okay? And I promise you to..."

My mouth did not finish my statement when Felise stood up and kick me straight to my balls. Hard enough I drop my knees on the ground and could barely pinpoint the pain that I feel inside me.

Aside from that, I am seeing a few twinkling stars above my head, and my entire body shivered as though a voltage of electricity crawled starting from the tip of my toe up to the tip of my hair.

"Help my ass, you monster," she said, then she grabs the items she brought from the convenience store. "whatever happens to me is none of your business. And you should be the one to pay for these because I'm taking them."

Later in the evening, my wolf took the profound courage to bait myself into the wolf's den; to visit Razel. I could have visited him at school but I don't want to embarrass ourselves in front of his classmates.

That would be the last thing I want to happen.

"Look who's here, Razel!" yells one of the guys in front of mama's house. There are six of them, freely exposing their six-pack abs while having a barbecue party.

Home sweet home. I could barely remember when was the last time I visited mama's house since Uncle Robin and Alexa adopted my wolf.

The outside face of the house remains the same. A wooden gate painted white. A tangerine tree filled with fruit and leaves where dad and I usually play.

And the swing which I requested mama and papa to build so I could have someplace to play while they were out for the pack services. However, it seems that I visited him on the wrong day and at the wrong time.

"What are you doing here?" Razel furiously announced right after he got out of the house. Then he flash in my direction and began pushing me away.

His hatred and resentment toward me soar up like an untimed bomb. My wolf could sense his eyes were blazing with fire and the urge to end my life right in front of the house.

The same sensation he possess when he kept punching me that night. If I did not stop him that night, my wolf could have been dead by now.

"I'm here to tell you something important, brother," I said back while allowing him to push me the way he wants to.

"Brother?" he scoffed at me in disbelief. "have you forgotten I already ended up our connection since that night? Who the hell are you calling me that, huh?"

Then he punches me in the face, this time a bit harder compared to before. As soon as I stumbled on the ground, his other friends started surrounding me.

All of them were smiling at me. It was the kind of smile that is telling me I should have not shown up in the middle of their barbecue party. The worst part is that I could barely sense mama's presence in the house or nearby.

"That is not how our pack works, son." says the middle-aged man who just appeared. He was carrying bottles of beer. "punching someone's face is for humans. Why not show your older brother what you become since your eighteenth birthday?"

"What?" I uttered before digging into the deepest part of my brain what date is today.

Right. Razel turned eighteen three days ago. The same day that my wolf was disgraced, disgusted, and ousted because I choose my brother over the pack. It was the same day when I have nowhere else to go.

The night that I could not stop weeping because I realize my wolf was all alone in the dark, with no walls, no roofs, or anyone who I can count on if things go south.

"Are you sure?" Razel eagerly asks his father.

"Well. You said it yourself that you want to avenge someone's death because of your evil stepbrother." advises his father. "Now's your chance, son. Kill him."

As soon as Razel got his father's approval, he rips off his shirt and endure the unbearable cracking of bones before he finally turned into the final phase a hungry and furious wolf. His friends cheered for him after that.

Then he jumps on top of me and slashes his claws on my shoulders and legs without any signs of hesitation. I could barely see the loving and caring Razel that I know in his wolf form anymore.

Razel changed a lot. But I cannot blame him for that. He felt betrayed by his older brother.

"Fight, you son of a bitch!" he exclaims when I simply let him do what he wants for me. This time, I have no plan to cover my face with my bare hands.

If killing me makes him feel better, then so be it.

"As I said to you that night, Razel, I will never fight with you. Because you are my brother. Always will. Always will be." I uttered, even smiling at him wholeheartedly.

"Treat me your brother all you want, Ezra. But you will never be my brother anymore," he uttered back while relishing his claws on my chest. "Because you killed her!"

"Kill him, now, Razel!" yells his father. "members of another pack are enemies to our pack. Prove your loyalty to the pack. To our alpha."

"She's alive," I uttered in a rush before Razel could lift his claws into the air. "Felise is alive and she will be seeking my help sooner because of my claws."

"What?" he rolled his eyes and his furious expression slowly change. "What did you just say?" he asks for clarification even if he heard me loud and clear.

"Kill him!" yells Razel's father before he and those men shifted into wolves and rush in my direction.

Before his father could reach my spot, I pushed Razel out of my body and shifted into a wolf, not to prove that I can beat at least three of them, but to run as fast as I can away from the place.

For what it's worth, I manage to deliver the message to Razel. And I don't care if his pack will hunt me down to the deepest part of the world. I am already a lone wolf. The only thing I could do is to keep running and hiding if I still want to live and survive without someone on my side.

But I was hoping Razel would do the same for me as I did for him. Choosing me over his werewolf pack.

  • Fated to my Stepbrother's Mate   A New Beginning 2

"You are the ones who killed me in the first place, Mom, Dad. My happiness. My rights. And on top of that, my future. What kind of parents do that to their daughter? I'm so sorry if I disrupted your peaceful dinner." Before I could lose my love and respect for my parents, I evacuated the house with a heavy heart and endless tears. There are no more words or courage left in me that could convince them. So I decided to focus on building my second family which is the pack the way Ezra and I wanted it to be. Piece by piece, we achieve a few things on our bucket list. Our numbers increased to a hundred. Three days later, our fifty became a hundred, and a hundred became a thousand in a matter of days with the help of Razel's pack and Ezra's endless effort to solve every problem every time we encountered one. On top of that, we haven't heard anything from the rest of the packs around us either, giving us enough time to become strong. For me to become the best version of

  • Fated to my Stepbrother's Mate   A New Beginning

"No," Ezra blurted, "Let's stick with the plan. Baptism and the Mating Night. Rust will help you guys with the flow of the events. I'll be patrolling the perimeter to make sure the plan succeeds tonight." Right after insisting, Ezra shifted into a wolf and ran away. Yes. Running away would be the perfect definition of what he thinks he's doing right now. He wants to hide his feelings - that he was hurting by the fact that I am going to mate his stepbrother. I know Ezra more than anyone in the world. His pain was excruciatingly unbearable that was why he could not bear to see me getting mated to Razel. All though it was his plan in the first place, he didn't want to turn back on his words even if his stepbrother already confessed to us the possibility of not getting anything from their pack. As soon as Ezra was gone out of my sight, Rust ordered us to begin the baptism. Right after the successful baptism of the Crescent moon pack, I found myself in the middle o

"How about let's prove that your alpha is useless? Kill them all!" Alexander ordered his wolves before he shifted into one. His boisterous growls produced mild movements of the ground, scaring the hell out of everyone, including Ezra and Razel. Before anyone could lay their claws and fangs on my pack members, I jumped on top of Alexander and landed alongside Ezra and Razel. My desire to kill washed over me while shifting the color of my eyes. We already lost two of our pack members. Those numbers all end there. Alexander and his wolves were taken aback when I growled louder than him. My growls did not just produce continuous movements on the ground and shoo all the wild animals around us but shook off everyone's nerves. There was this strange energy that surged in every fiber of my muscle, reverberating through me like a bolt of lightning. I could even feel my claws and fangs increase in size. Sharpened by the seconds. The brown hair attached to my body refl

  • Fated to my Stepbrother's Mate   The Rise of the New Pack

"No, I highly doubt that," Ezra replied, compared to me and Razel, his voice still filled with hope. "There is another group of wolves a few meters away from the house. They have Mom and your father in that car." That makes sense. My senses were focused only on those werewolves above us. Diverting my heightened senses away from them did not even come to mind. Indeed, there, not far away from the house, stood ten more of Alexander's pack, surrounding the car where Razel's parents are held captives. Ezra's werewolf instincts about Rustom holding them alive were precisely right. Rustom had his motive for letting them stay alive. That also makes me wonder why Alexander agreed to help us save Razel's parents in exchange for Lance. Does that mean he also had his motive for keeping Lance? If there was one, what could it be? But no matter what that is, I must be prepared. "There were thirty werewolves in total surrounding us right now," one of our new members conf

  • Fated to my Stepbrother's Mate   The Crescent Moon Pack

"What will happen to them?" I asked those security guards who dragged me to the parking lot and hopped me into someone's black BMW car by force. Then we took off. "Don't give me that kind of glance, old man." I continued, this time, with a demanding tone, "You knew something. What does Aric wants from them?" "We don't know what Alpha Aric wants from them exactly, but I heard it will not do good to both of them..." As the old man kept on talking, I kept my eyes glancing in and out of the car, especially the direction we were heading. Based on my quick observation, we are not heading to my apartment, my parents' place, or Aric's den, but to the airport. Behind me, if I am not mistaken, were two large luggage bags. What's going on? I know what I did was unforgivable. But are they planning to separate me from Ezra? No. Aric is going to kill them. We still have an unfinished business with Alexander. And we just built our own pack. I must do something because my

Ezra nodded, "Simply because I closed my eyes back then. What if they notice and attack us all of a sudden?" he replied. I don't know if he was simply teasing me or not with his response. His overflowing rage toward me twenty seconds ago, but our ten long seconds kiss, melted and turned into a fine blushing. However, it does not change the fact that he wanted me to mate with his stepbrother. "Sorry," I uttered softly, "But I'm afraid my wolf cannot mate Razel right now, Ezra." "May I know the reason?" he insisted, his voice started to calm down as well. Perhaps he already confirmed that those wolves just passed by were already gone. There was no other way they could have sensed anyone's presence underneath the abandoned house because Ezra and Razel securely surrounded the place with human poop and other disgusting smells to distract a werewolf's heightened sense of smell. Even if we were outside sitting inside the car, they could bearly trace us either because
