16| Mysterious Entourage

Rain blinked. She felt she had slept too long. When Rain was fully awake, she saw that the room around her was still dark. However, it wasn't completely dark because Sam had left the light beside Rain's bed a dim yellowish glow. However, the piercing cold air told Rain it was getting late.

She sat on the bed. Rain moved her bandaged hands and feet. She didn't feel any pain at all. Rain was surprised.

"Are the herbs that great they have?"

Out of curiosity, Rain removed the bandage on her arm. Rain touched the skin of her arm. The wolf bite marks almost tear apart her flesh, only leaving a faint scar.

"Wow, amazing! Am I not dreaming?" Rain slapped her cheek and felt the pain.

Still in disbelief, she turned to the bandage on the leg. Rain remembered how the wolf's jaws pressed firmly against her calf. The pain made her faint.

Carefully, Rain removed the bandage on her leg. When all the bandages were removed, Rain stared wide-eyed.

"This wound has completely healed?"

She moved her feet.
