I enter the front office the hotel and to my surprise Grace is waiting for me at the front desk. “It took you long enough,” she whispers, waving her hand for me to follow her to the back office. I follow her into the office and see that she has tea and cookies set up on a small table in the center of the room. This room is different from the rest of the hotel. It is nicely decorated and does not smell of mildew or mold. Beautiful turn of the century furniture adorns the room, and every inch of the room is clean. Thick burgundy curtains hang on either side of the single window in the room, keeping any light from the outside from being able to filter inside. A single light illuminates the room, if not for my wolf eyesight it would be difficult to see around the room. The glimmer of something round on the center of the table catches my eyes and I realize it is a crystal ball.

ANDREWShattered glass is still all over the ground where Lyra busted through the front door of the building where she was being held. Blood still stains the ground and the glass. Unable to suppress my anger a growl erupts from my chest as we walk across the broken glass, knowing the pain that she went through to escape. Sniffing the air as I enter, Lyra’s scent is faint in the air along with several other wolves. Splitting into groups of two we each take off in different directions searching the building for clues to where they may have gone next. Following what is remaining of Lyra’s scent in the building I find myself inside I small room with a metal door. There is only a bed and a toilet within the room. ANDREWI knock on Kristof’s door, not knowing what to expect when I walk inside. It is not often that a pack member finds their mate among a group of rogues. It is widely known that female rogues are mistreated and abused by their male counter parts, and by the marks and bruises that cover her arms and legs I am sure she is not an exception to the rule. Kristof cracks the door open slightly, peeking through the crack to see me standing there. LYRAMy heart and head seem to be pounding at the same rhythm as I attempt to open my eyes. I open my eyes slightly seeing nothing but darkness in front of me. My hands are bound with silver cuffs in front of my body and my ankles are bound together as well. My mouth is gagged with a piece of cloth that is tied on so tightly it makes me want to puke. LYRA The smell of incense and a pair of warm hands against my cheeks pull me from my sleep. My eyes flutter open and the warm glow of a fireplace comes into view. My hands and legs are no longer bound, and my clothes are surprisingly clean for being held captive in a cave. I glance around the room and am met with deep burgundies and golds, and Victorian furniture. A tiny woman works tirelessly at the fire, before she turns to look at me. Her piercing blue eyes seem to see into my mind and my soul. “You are finally awake,” she says as she sets a cup of tea on a small table in the center of the room. “Come sit,” she pats the table as she speaks. I rise hesitantly, slowly taking in my surroundings once more. If this is a vision it is different from the rest. Everything is so crisp and clear as if I am actually with the woman in her study. JAMESDarkness surrounds me. A steady beeping noise fills the dark void that I cannot escape. Every now and then voices surround me, sometimes I can hear what is being said and other times it is nothing more than a jumbled mess. When I hear the voices I try to open my eyes to let them know I am still here but the more I try to reach out the farther I slip into the void. The void is dark and numb. Sitting in the dark recesses of my mind I try to reach out to my wolf, but silence in my mind is deafening.
