Chapter 42

ANDREW

I enter the front office the hotel and to my surprise Grace is waiting for me at the front desk. “It took you long enough,” she whispers, waving her hand for me to follow her to the back office. I follow her into the office and see that she has tea and cookies set up on a small table in the center of the room. This room is different from the rest of the hotel. It is nicely decorated and does not smell of mildew or mold. Beautiful turn of the century furniture adorns the room, and every inch of the room is clean. Thick burgundy curtains hang on either side of the single window in the room, keeping any light from the outside from being able to filter inside. A single light illuminates the room, if not for my wolf eyesight it would be difficult to see around the room. The glimmer of something round on the center of the table catches my eyes and I realize it is a crystal ball.

that is why it is important to have a weapon or mace with you at all times weather it be on a key chain or in the office in a drawer or on your bedside table .
