Chapter 51
ANDREW
Sun peeks through the blinds of my office, alerting me that it is morning once again. I have not slept in days. When I am not hunting for Lyra and her captor I am scouring over maps of my territory and the surrounding packs, trying to pinpoint a location where she might be. We were able to track her and Augustus’s scent into the forest behind the packhouse but then it just disappeared. It has now been more than a week and her scent is fading from the ground, making it impossible to track her that way any longer.
As soon as I arrived back at the pack I upped the amount of patrols that run along the border and the security around the hospital. Cain and Augustus were dead, but Grayson and Edward were still at large. I had to be sure that neither would try to take over my pack while I searched for Lyra.

LYRA My left hand feels restless. There is a constant warmth and tingle that sends sparks throughout my whole body. LYRA As I step through the library doors, I inhale deeply, the musty smell of old books is one of my favorite things. The she-wolf behind the desk offers me a fake smile as I pass her desk and make my way to the computers in the center of the library. Taking a seat at the only free computer, I make the mistake of glancing back and the front desk and the woman behind it is glaring at me. A shutter travels up my spine as I try not to think about which one of my mates she may have been involved with before I came along.I stare at the search bar on the library computer, and I wonder if the searches are tracked. I scan my card with the reader and type ‘witches’ into the search engine.
