Dahlia's POV

I was so excited, looking at myself in the floor length mirror of my dressing room. I was to be married today, to my mate. He was the Beta of my pack, the Knight Moon Pack. The pack is named after my family. My great great great grandfather was the first Alpha here, the man that put this whole pack together.

He had triplet sons, all mated to one woman who gave birth to three boys, one with each triplet. Two of them left to start a pack across the country when my grandfather took over for this pack.

He had a son with my grandmother, a long line of only boys in this family until my father had me. The first female to be born into the Knight family. He and my mother proceeded to have another child, my brother Levi, who is just a year younger than myself.

Dad really never had much to do with me but was proud when he found out I was mated to the man stepping into the Beta position alongside my brother next year when he took the Alpha spot.

We have to wait until he turns eighteen to give them their full ranking titles, but Christopher and I are both eighteen now so my father wanted us to be married and move into the Beta suite of the pack house now, before the ceremony next year.

Now here I stand, when my mother walks into the room in her rose gold colored dress, a smile drawn on her face as she comes up behind me, looking at me through the mirror.

"You look beautiful, my little princess. I can't even put into words how truly breathtaking you look. Here,"

She held her hand up, moving a simple curl back a bit before pulling a clip from her clutch. It was fresh water pearls intricately woven into the shape of a Crescent Moon.

"May I?"

I nodded as she placed the clip in my hair just above the start of the small veil I had pinned in. She stepped back as I watched her eyes fill with tears through her reflection in the mirror before turning to face her. My dress made a swishing sound as I did.

I loved the bottom of my dress, the way it swirled out around me before working its way up to the corset style top that fit me perfectly.

The lace was delicate and hand made by my great grandmother. My mother took her old dress, and her mother's old dress so she could create one made just for me.

Being the only girl, I was spoiled by her along with her entire family. Everyone was so shocked that my father could produce a female that I was always the topic of people's conversations.

Some say my mother must have cheated, that I wasn't truly a Knight, others say I'm a curse on the family, but I like the rumors about me being specially gifted from the moon goddess herself for greatness.

Of course I don't believe any of the things I hear. I know my mother didn't cheat, so does my father because he would have felt her infidelity. I don't believe I am a curse because I have not brought anything ill down upon my family or pack, as for special, I doubt it.

Granted I'm huge, as big as an Alpha, which is rare for females to be that large, I even impressed my father for the first time when I got my wolf and shifted at fourteen, well before I was supposed to.

My brother shifted at sixteen, like I should have, we are the same size when shifted and look as if we could be twins, our only difference is the color of our eyes. His wolf, Tyr, has bright green eyes that glow like emeralds. My wolf, Alanah, has blue sapphire eyes that light up when she gets excited.

We both are solid black and can hide at night within the trees like no one else can, being part of the Knight family we can also mask our scents to not be caught when put hunting or if we are in battle and need to become shadows.

"You stuck inside that head again I see princess?"

Smiling at her I nodded before she turned me back around to face the mirror that stood in front of me.

"Do you remember the day Christopher came of age? You were just seventeen for another month still but the moment you saw him, you scented him as he did you.

The excitement on your face was everything I'd hoped it would be and more. You ran to him as he scooped you up into the air.

You two have known one another for your entire lives, you won't have to leave the pack due to being mated to an Alpha, but.."

"Mom, he won't be some playboy any longer, not now that we have felt the mate bond. Once he marks me, everything will be exactly as it should be. It's perfect mom.

I have him, and all of you. He knows I'm not a curse or some weirdly special wolf, he knows that I'm bigger than he is when shifted, it's never bothered him before.

Everything is going to be perfect."

My eyes drifted from hers to my own as I smiled to myself. I was so excited for this day, to be Chris's wife and mate, to move into our suite, to finally be marked and to mark him. I wanted to on my birthday, the night I came of age, but he thought it'd be more romantic to wait until our wedding night.

I did lose my virginity that night though, it was painful at first but pleasurable after a bit. He was a bit rough with me but said that was the best way because if you go slow it would have just been more painful making the pain last longer.

My mother and I finished making sure I was ready to go before she was called out so she could be taken to her spot inside the hall where we shall be married.

She kissed me, gave me one last look, then she left after telling me how much she loves me. As she left the room I felt a strange feeling. I got this feeling often, like my body was pulling me to something, as if I needed to be somewhere other than where I was.

Levi’s POV Walking into the pack house I scented my sister right away. Her scent became so much stronger with her pregnancy that it overwhelms every other scent in her vicinity. Of course our sense of smell being heightened doesn’t help that factor. Honestly, even with her scent so strong it brings me a feeling of peace at the same time. I heard Rose growl slightly when we walked inside, as if her instinct was to be overprotective of me with the strong female scent but she calmed instantly when I pushed my hand into hers. She looked down at our hands before looking up to me with an apologetic look in her eyes. “Sorry.” She said shyly which only made me smile down at her. “Don’t be my lovely. It’s completely natural. Just remember, she’s your best friend, as well as my sister. No threat.” I felt as she released the tension that had built up in her shoulders before a giant smile overtook her face as she looked forward. Turning my head I see my very pregnant sister

Alpha Damien’s POV Her hips jerked up harshly as she sucked in a sharp breath. The small sounds she would make as she became closer to releasing was intoxicating. The scent of her, the taste, it made my mouth water. Pushing two fingers inside of her tight channel she screamed out, her fingers trying to tangle in my hair but she had trouble reaching me over her bump. I could hear her frustration as her hands slammed down onto the bed harshly. A ripping sound came telling me that her nails were shredding through the blanket beneath her. Her thighs began to shake as I pushed my fingers deeper inside of her. The walls tightening around them when she attempted to close her legs around my head. Her body trembling as I forced one leg to the bed, pinning it there as I continued to lap at her. Her moans and screams were music to my ears as she came undone. “Oh GODS! I…. Ohhhh… can’t keep… going!!!! FUCK!!!” She came so hard her entire body went stiff as her legs twitched u

Months later Alpha Damien’s POV Waking up to feel her soft breath fanning gently across my chest made my heart flutter. No matter how much time passes with her by my side I still feel like it’s the first day again. That moment when I scented her in the woods changed my entire world. She sees now how truly strong and beautiful she is. It warms my heart to feel her continuous outpouring of love she exudes daily. My mind body and soul truly feel at peace now that we have fought our way to live peacefully within our pack and her previous one that Levi, her brother, runs with love like we do. As she shifted her body slightly I felt a wave of movement roll across my back making me jump slightly as I turned to look down at her. Her eyes slowly opened, her eyelashes skimming so softly across me before she graced me with her smile. “Did they wake you again?” She asked with a gravely tone to her sweet voice. I couldn’t help but smile as I reached down to caress her bell

Dahlia’s POV Continued Over the next few weeks I watched my brother come back and forth to see Rose. They began dating but today is the first day that she will be traveling with Levi back to my old pack. I stayed with her last night to help her get ready but we ended up not even getting any sleep because her nervousness was so strong she fidgeted the entire evening. “Please Rose, just try to sit down. I told you that everything was going to be alright.” “What if everyone there hates me?! I’m not a Luna like you, I have no idea how to be what you are to a pack. Let alone a pack of that size! I’m completely out of my depth here Dahls!” Her pitch raised so high as she said the nickname my brother used for me it made me wince slightly before I stood in front of her grabbing her shoulders. “The pack is going to love you Rose. You are compassionate, caring, loving, and you never judge anyone. Look at us. What you did when I came here was something I don’t even know if I

Dahlia's POV Continued Once I left my brother alone with Rose I walked through the hall leading to the stairs before stopping. Everything has changed so much for me in what feels like a blink of an eye. I looked up the next set of stairs to where my room sat before turning to look down the other set of stairs where the front doors sat leading outside and into the woods where Damien found me. Little pieces of memories flashed through my mind of that day. The way I felt lost and scared honestly. How I managed to escape my wedding just to venture too far out of my own territory and into that, if what I believed at the time to be enemy territory. I'll never forget the way his eyes darkened when he looked down at me. Or how I swore I should fear him yet instead was intrigued by the man looming so dangerously over me. It's crazy to me to think about the fact that he knew I was meant to be his yet I didn't. How it could have felt to stand in front of your second chance mate only for

Dahlia's POV Continued "Oh my sweet Rose, he had to. He didn't leave you. He needed to bring back the warriors from his pack. He's Alpha now and has no choice." I held her out from me so she would hopefully look at me, which she shakily did. "He was absolutely torn apart having to leave here. He didn't want to until you had time and chose to see or speak with him. He is broken right now." She sniffed then wiped her face with the sleeve of her shirt. Her eyes swirled making it so I could finally see a bit of her wolf sitting there. "Broken?" I sighed, my head tilting to the side as I nodded with a small tip of my lips. I actually felt a bit relieved by the way she was acting. She was scared about this entire situation, but I can see she wants him still. She's curious about him and now I can see that her wolf is as well. They haven't shut put the idea of him. I don't want her to live in fear, but my brother would never hurt her. The thought of him getting rejected b
