I could hear them from out here. I didn’t want to get involved but I knew I had too. One of them was going to come off worse and somehow, I don’t think it will be Aiden

Standing outside the kitchen door, I hear Aiden say something about being a beast. Shoving the door open. His grey eyes meet mine. Blood was smeared across his face and chest. His chest was moving fast as his heart thudded in his chest.

“What’s going on?”

Colt puts a hand out, his words like a whisper in my mind “Stay there.”

“You brought me into this world, you made me what I am!” Aiden is shouting at Colt

“Aiden, this is just how it is.” Colt mutters and Aiden’s eyes turn towards him. "We don't have the answers."

“What is that supposed to mean? Look at me, look at what you and mother did.”

What the hell was going on with him.

“Aiden, you are making it sound worse than it is.”

I still didn’t understand what I had walked in too. He had looked so happy when he ran by us with the rabbit.
