“I’m serious Daphne. If you want our bond to be fixed, you will keep your mouth shut. You won’t say anything to Lilah about what I have just told you.” I had fucked up by telling her. Yet at the same time, I felt like I had to tell her.

She glares at me as she presses her lips into a thin line. Her arms fold across her chest, pushing her rounding belly out a little further. “You can’t be serious? She deserves to know.”

“He has changed. He does not do it anymore. He stopped when he realised what Lilah was. We haven’t come across any half-breeds not until now and we have travelled the world chasing Lilah.”

“But he still killed thousands. You know he threatened your pup!” She snaps at me

“He wouldn’t”

“Why would I bother lying about something like that? He has an evil side and you just can’t see it.” She drops her gaze, frowning into her lap and sighs. “None of you make anything easy, do you?”

I’m all for Daphne and Linc figuring life out together. But I am soooooo over Colt. Is the guy EVER going to wise up? We are seeing a little more of Lilahs voice and I love it but then Colt sweeps in and silences her again. The story is keeping me on my toes for sure.
