Her breath quickens and her heart races as I burst in through the hospital doors. The doctors and nurses stare at me stunned. “Help her!” They frantically rush around. Pulling on aprons and gloves as I put Lilah on a bed. “She shouldn’t be having this pup yet.” The doctor tells me over Lilah’s screams. “I know. Linc What was I seeing? She looked possessed. The mother of my unborn pup is still. Her chocolate hair blowing in the wind. But her eyes, it was like they had rolled into the back of her head and all I could see were the whites. She looks like she is standing on the tips of her toes as she focusses on the sky.
