Chapter Fifty-Nine

Lycan strength alcohol.

Alcohol…alcohol was my friend right now. Scrap that, white wine, white Lycan-strength wine, was my friend and I was on my second bottle already. Mav had refused to get me the second bottle after I drank the first one over dinner. I had found the second bottle chilling in their dented fridge…oops! I forgot about that damage.

The third bottle I had found in a corner cupboard and had secretly placed it in the freezer to cool down quicker. I didn’t plan to fall asleep tonight, I planned to pass out. I had enjoyed my break from the dark dreams and wasn’t ready for them to return. Which with my current mood, I knew they would.

Colette had gone to bed ages ago! Mav was refusing to leave me alone, I think he knows about the third wine bottle. Which makes me giggle to myself every so often. He must think I’m such a loose cannon. Clearly the young she-wolf isn’t good enough for his best friend after all! See this is the exact reason I try not to get too attached.
