Xim - First night of the Summit

Sentry duty is usually long and lonely, but tonight, I'm paired with two members of other clans to protect Lion Island. This gives me people to talk to while on watch, but I'm not in the mood. I shivered from head to toe; it was so lovely. Her sweet words make me realize I haven’t had anyone in my head in a while, not even Imagyn.     I have no words while we walk through the village to the clan house. The land is beautifully decorated, but my mood sees it as dull and drab. How could this day of joy turn sour so quickly?
