Highly Suspicious

I continue to distance myself from Gilmore as I suspected that he’s an enemy.

“Sister...” Gilmore looked at me coldly and pointed his fingers towards me until a single splash of laser from his fingers destroyed the remaining monsters behind me.

No words came out from my mouth. My mouth remained open as I look at him.

“W-Who are you?” I asked him.

“If I tell you, you have to pay for it in exchange. So it would be better if we remain strangers rather than revealing ourselves to each other,” he claimed.

Gilmore and I continue to travel together. We stepped inside the dungeon and a dark presence interrupted me.

“Wait, Gilmore… I think we should leave,” I stopped him by grasping his shirt.

“No, there’s no turning back. We could face those monster again and it might kill us next time,” Gilmore admitted while he took my hand and continue to walk.

As I got to stare at his hand, I remember the way Lucifer held me back then. My brows lowered until the tears from my eyes started to condensed.
