STRUCK BY THE CUPID'S ARROW
When Sarah opened her eyes, she found Arnold sitting beside her on the bed. One of her hands was cocooned between his. He was staring at the wall with a desolate expression, deep in thought.
“I don’t know what happened. Suddenly everything went black.” Sarah said sitting up.
Arnold opened his mouth to say something but the words never came out. He sat there gazing into her eyes cluelessly. He didn’t know how to break this news to her?

Arnold’s steps faltered as he was about to enter his house. He felt guilty because he had lied to Sarah. He wondered what had changed. A few years ago, he never even thought once before lying. But now, he felt a knot in his stomach every time he lied. He crossed his fingers as he decided to tell Sarah about today’s meeting. She would get angry but he would find a way to make up to her. The noise of explosion ha startled them causing them to fall on the floor.The stranger was bent over with laughter. Sia was still in his arms and was giggling too.Arnold blinked his eyes again and again. He frowned and looked around trying to get a hold on what had happened. Was this some kind of joke? He didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. On one hand, he was happy that he wasn’t killed but his mind was still reeling in distress.
