It was night now, and the darkness was creeping around us. I hear nothing except my own heavy breathing and Aesira's impatient stomping. "Let's go now, Rona," Aesira said through the mind link. I looked at Aesira as she walked impatiently across the trail and quickly ducked around the tree branches, leaning over the pathway.
