I shook my head, chuckling, “Look, it’s a duplicate Alpha Tolvar.” He shrugged, “I could think of worse role models.” I cringed, “Yeah, I could think of a lot better too.”

He chuckled, “Wow. So, my chosen mate is a smart ass.” He then slapped me, hard, across the face. I fell back onto the bed, then bounced right back up to my feet and punched him in the nose, breaking it.

I sneered, “If you think you are going to beat this she-wolf into submission, you need to rethink your strategy, boy. This she-wolf has already taken out nearly every man your father sent to come after me. If they hadn’t drugged me this time, you would’ve had two men in our cells instead of one. So, you will not be able to tame me.”

He sat up with a stiffened spine, “My mate is also a strong she-wolf. Please, let’s start over. I will not hurt you again.” I chuckled, “You think that hurt? You hit like a girl. I’ve taken much harder hits than that during training.”
