After losing both her parents and being injured at a very young age, then losing her grandparents less than ten years later, Zariah is put under the guardianship of the Alpha and Luna. She had been raised around alpha heir Isaac since she came to live with her grandparents. Isaac was protective of her from day one and never stopped. When Izzy turns eighteen, she gets her wolf, Onyx, and finds that Isaac is her mate. Although she is happy that he is the one, how can she trust the mate bond? They also find out that there are two other alphas trying to kidnap her in order to use her for her abilities. She wonders if she will ever be done fighting. I was waiting at the emergency entrance of the pack hospital when an ambulance pulled into the driveway. Tayna jumped out, then two paramedics followed. When they pulled the stretcher out it almost looked empty. When I saw her face, she was a bloody mess and she was severely malnourished. The human nearly mutilated her face. I was released from the hospital two days later on the condition that I take it easy and rest for a week.
