Chapter 41 

Barry POV

I was just coming out of my house when I heard screaming. Oh right, it's the full moon, a night of first-time shifting. I remember mine; it was somewhat painful since I had trained hard, hoping it wouldn't hurt so much. However, it was painful. In the end, I stood there a dark brown lycan. So I decided to head out and see who the new lycan or werewolf was. I got there just in time to see Amy, the healer, running toward a small crowd with a sheet and something white. When they moved out of the way, I saw a beautiful black Lycan. Holy crap, who is that? I needed to get to know her; she was beautiful. When she shifted back, she fell to the ground, and Amy held her head in her lap. She does that to every new shifter, making sure that nothing is torn on the first shift. Once she was done, she held the sheet up so the girl could put on clothes. When she removed the sheet, I couldn't help but almost drool. This girl was beautiful. I couldn't really see her hair since it was dark, but I saw her face. I couldn't keep my eyes off her. I needed to get going to see the boss. He was wanting to know details, so I had to force myself to leave. Once I kill the boss, then make sure I get every single dime from the king, I will make him marry my daughter. Then walk away from the throne if he wanted the money back. This is my kingdom, and I will have it. Jasmine is gone now. She won't be coming back; she knows better. If she does come back, I'll kill her myself. I won't stand for betrayal. I gave her two days, then she decided to run. Shit, she's fast; I'll give her that. But I bet my bottom dollar that she won't be alive at the end of the month.

Jasmine pov

Its been a whole day driving, we didn't want to stop to long so no one would come after us, We would stop in the drive thru to get something to eat, When we needed gas and bathroom we would stop and do that, but we wouldn't be stopped for to long, We where now stopping at one because we needed gas, When we get back into the car it would be my turn to drive so Renee and Luna could rest, We got out to use the bathroom, wash our hands, and then pay to drinks and snacks, and then the gas, We walked out together, I was looking around, i think all three of us where, when I noticed something in the corner of our eye, at first i thought it was the king's guards finally finding us so they would follow us, I was about to wave at them, But when they got closer I knew then it wasn't them, sh*t they found us, but how in the heck did they do that, we been driving non stop just stopping for gas and snacks and stuff, shit, i looked over at the girls and they noticed as well, 

“Renee pumps the gas, Jasmine get in the car.” 

“Nox, i won't let you do this by yourself.” she looked at me, i was wanting to step back the way she just stopped and looked at me, then she handed me a gun, 

“When i tell you to shoot, I want you to shoot anywhere on their bodies, these are silver bullets, it will kill them if you shoot them between the eyes, don't let them see it, is that understood?” i nodded as we stood there, i put the gun in my back pocket, i'm not used to these things, so i didn't know where else to put it, they were standing a few feet away from us now, 

“Jasmines, i see you found a few new friends. If you come with us now, we won’t hurt them.” the ring leader had said,”

“Your lying. Once im gone, you would do your best to do whatever it takes to make them dead,” 

‘Alright, Either you join us, or all three of you will die, we are tired of chasing you Jasmine, We know you have the files from the accounts, you need to hand those over as well,” 

"And I am telling you, I'm not handing anything over to you or anyone else, so you might as well kill me and get it over with, i'm tired of running away, but let me tell you this, once im dead and my people don't hear from me, three files are going to head to the kingdom, once the king finds out everything, all h3ll will break loose, so you decide ass holes,” we watched as they looked at each other, we knew they were mindlinking then they looked back at us, they had a smirk on their faces, they thought i was lying about this, let them come,  i was ready for it, i was so sick of these rogues, they stepped forward one by one, they were about to attack, i said fuck it, i pulled out my gun than i started shooting, i knew i hit three of them, the others looked at the ones that was on the ground than ran, Luna looked at me laughing, so did Jasmine, she had her gun out ready to use it, she placed it back in her holster, 

“Come on, we need to get going before anyone else comes,” we got back into the car leaving the rogues on the ground, when we drove up, four wolves came up stabbing them right between the eyes, then they watched us until they couldn't see the lights of the car again., 

“Did the moon goddess tell anyone i was going to find my mate tonight? Because i smelled her scent, she's in that car,”

 keep the mission first, the moon goddess told us we had to keep them safe, the kings guards that was sent to help them are dead, we make sure they arrive safely and then you can claim her, but mission first, you can't let them see us or the mission is off,” the man nodded as they got in their car driving off, they had to stay behind them, but not letting them see the other car, he was wondering if he was meant to be here to find her, this was all new to him, he lived for almost five thousand years and he had never found his mate until tonight, he didn’t know which one it was, but he is willing to find out, hopefully she will want him too, but his friend was right, The mission first and then he can claim her,
