Chapter 10

Rachel's POV

I stopped mid run and stared at Joyce. She looked up and met my eyes. I swear I saw her swollen red lips silently word out 'help me'. Behind her, casually stepping through the grass, as if it was a normal day, was three rogues in their wolf form.

My heart seemed to break in a million pieces as I watched her crawl towards me in terror. Her eye appeared to be worse than when I saw her through the window. Her beautiful porcelain skin was covered in bruises. Her nose looked clearly broken. Her cupid bow lips were busted in several spots. I watched as her breast swayed with each forced movement she made to escape the men, and they looked covered in human bite marks. I couldn't even begin to imagine what my friend had experienced.

The men slowly shifted back into their human forms. They continued to approach her and were laughing! They were mocking Joyce and the agony, they were causing her. They picked up speed and grabbed her by the ankle, and yanked her back to them.

Joyce let out a heart-stopping wail. Tears and screams began pouring from her as she kicked and slapped at her assailants. They didn't seem to be bothered at all. If anything, they enjoyed it. They appeared to feed off of it. They laughed and took the hits Joyce was throwing at them. They grabbed her breast, her thighs, and her ass. I even saw one man slid his hand up her skirt.

"Ah, come on darling! We are not done with you yet." one laughed as he shoved her skirt up.

I felt sick. Beyond sick. How could someone do this to another person. Even worse, how could someone get off to such a thing.

I could see every inch of all three men. Since they shifted from wolf to man, they stood there completely naked. To my horror, they stood over Joyce, turned on and almost fully erect. Joyce's will to fight back seemed to only cause her further damage as the men appeared to love it. With each hit and slap she gave the men, it caused their arousal to grow and grow.

I didn't realize I was shaking again until my teeth began to chatter. I absent mindedly started walking towards Joyce and the three men. My legs had a mind of their own for a moment. It wasn't until I heard a loud crash from inside my house that caused me to stop. I looked at my home and could make out two or three shadows shifting around in the kitchen.

I could only pray to the Godess that Clayton was holding his own in there.

I look back at Joyce just as two of the men pinned her arms above her head. She thrashed in the grassy spot just under my favorite oak tree. I remember Joyce and I would sit under it on the weekends to giggle about the boys in our school. Now, I doubt the memories here will ever be pleasant again.

Where is the backup? Where are the men who were ordered to help others back to the pack house? We are so close to it. I can see the top of the building from where I stand. It just down hill to the gates. I could easily run there myself.

They have to be coming soon. Clayton said they would. We just need more time. I need to buy Joyce more time. Without a second thought, I walked closer.

"Get the fuck off of her!" I screamed as loud as I could.
