Chapter 1

 Chapter 1: Jack's Perspective

2nd-year in high school and I didn't have anything to do but to stare at her, stare at Angel, the most prettiest girl I ever saw. It's been a year since I first saw her, and honestly, I couldn't believe that love, at first sight, was true, I didn't believe in that saying...for me, it was not loved, it was only a sentimental gush, but, the moment I saw her, I guessed I was wrong because I fell in love immediately, funny but it's true.

Who won't fall in love with someone like her; someone like Angel, she was almost perfect. Beautiful, tall, has white skin like snow and belongs to a wealthy family. Well, I didn't care if she was rich, I'm not saying this to brag things about me, but I also belong to a wealthy family, that's why I didn't ask for more. Only one thing was missing, it was Angel. She was all I need to complete my life, haha, I laughed at myself about what I was just imagining.

"Haist, she was really beautiful," my mind whispered and I couldn't stop smiling as I kept staring at her, the love of my life.

"What are you smiling at, Jack?" Zio was teasing me. Zio was one of my friends, but he was the best of them all. He sat beside me and grinned strangely like he was thinking of something that I couldn't trust, creepy.

"You look happy, Jack?" he said, still grinning strangely.

"Hah? Me? Why? Is there any reason to be sad?" I just answered. And then Zio's eyes narrowed at me... he pushed me using his elbow, look who was the one who got his heart fluttered more than I do, haha, he was like a crazy young man, oh he was really crazy I should say.

"It's because of her, right?" he was still smiling when he asked me that interrogation. But heck! He also pointed out where Angel was standing. To my surprise, I immediately put his hand down. Yet, because he was a bad best friend, he shouted too loud, what a shame. Urgh!

"What are you laughing at, Zio?" I exclaimed... "She might notice us, and it's your fault," I hissed.

"See, so I was right?" he said. That devil smile of him was never gone away. I just ignore him but like what I said he was a bad best friend. And what he did? He shouted her name.

"Angel!" Zio shouted, and I didn't hesitate to drag him and covered his bad, naughty mouth, and I could feel that he was holding his laughter. Urgh! What a friend.

"Stupid! How come that you've become my friend?" I whispered, scowled at him, and it was awkward. But there was nothing more awkward when I noticed Angel staring in our direction.

I could feel the fast beating of my heart, "Is this for real? She was just staring at us?" I thought.

Then I felt pained, "Ouch!" I shouted. I suddenly shouted when Zio bit my hands that were covering his mouth, and he laughed like Lucifer again. Urgh, bastard!

"What the..." I halted my words when I heard a giggle, and it was not from Zio's naughty mouth, but came from my beloved Angel of Goddess. I looked back at her, and she was still giggling while looking at us.

Our eyes glued, and she unexpectedly smiled at me. I was almost felt like Olaf who was burning alive; I felt like I was melting by what my eyes were seeing right at the moment. "Is this really happening? Am I in heaven, and she was the Angel?" There was nothing that could make me happy more than what I had with this kind of view 

Well, Angel and I were in a different classroom, that's why I never had the chance to get to know her or talk to her. But seeing her smiling at me like this, does it means, I have a chance to talk to her? I wanted to shout to the world because of too much joy by the minute like this. But Zio interrupted my moment, he suddenly popped out.

He moved his head closer to mine and whispered, "Hey, you are really in love, bro." He certainly loved teasing me. I looked at him badly, widened my eyes, and exclaimed, "Shut, up bro!, and due to my annoyance with Zio. I started to chase him and keep punching him, well boys' thing, brotherly punches and not a fight.

" Stop it! Okay, okay, we're cool, right?" he yelled, and I stopped punching him immediately when I heard him saying those messages, and then we just laughed together, haha. Well, I guess, this is what a best friend does, they're the ones who let you get caught and in the end, you will end up laughing together as if nothing happened.

"Are you not going to confess to her, Jack?" I suddenly went serious and paused when the Zio who was enjoying teasing me just a few seconds ago, suddenly changed climate, he was serious, his eyes were looking at me seriously, that's why I answered his serious question with a serious answer.

I smiled, "I don't know, bro. She's too perfect. What if she didn't love me back?" I answered.

"Why don't you just ask her, for you to know?" 

I thought about what Zio said. I spaced out at that moment. "What if I really asked Angel? Is there a probability for me to becomes her boy? Haha, I was screaming inside as I tried to imagine what would it looks like when we are really in a relationship. I was grinning and imagining, I was excited thinking all of those what if's. Hahaha, but then here comes Zio again.

" Look at your face, Jack?" I can see your excitement," he laughed, and I just realized that his serious question awhile ago was just a part of his devilishness. He was really evil. I wanted to choke him badly, but I just let him and went to our room.

"HEY, I was just joking," he yelled as he ran after me. And I was chuckling at what he looked like while chasing me. Haist, a sigh. If he was not my best friend, I was going to punch him to death. Hahaha.
