Chapter Nine
"Would you like something to drink Ken?"
" Am fine, thanks."
There was a minute of silence as both men looked at each other without a word.
Nick finally broke the silence by asking Ken what he wanted to tell him.
" How did you get this job?" Ken asked him in return.
Nick remained silent for a while, wondering if his friend knew what was going on but he quickly pushes that thought aside as it was impossible for him to know anything.
" Miranda hired me of course."
Ken looked at him and Nick started feeling nervous.
"How did you meet Miranda?"
"Umm, I saw an ad of her company on TV one day and I decided to try and apply for a job there mainly because I was charmed by her beauty." Nick said awkwardly.
"So what happened to your other girlfriend, Claudia? Who from I suppose is Miranda's sister."
"What are you talking about, Claudia has never been my girlfriend. You must have her
