Chapter 56

The moment Christopher's hand wreathed in flames slammed into the ground a daisy chain of explosions echoed outward from the point of impact. Anyone who was unfortunate enough to be nearby was instantly erased from the world almost as if they had never existed. The few that left any proof that they had once been, was around the lines of a finger or some sort of small organ strewn about.

"AAAAH!" cries could be heard all around. Of course there had been survivors as well but none of them were able to escape the blast unscathed. Flames surged forward from the point of origin which many of the soldiers had taken directly to the face. Agonizing cries resonated around through the mist and smoke.
