"Oh it was quite simple. When they showed up here to spread their lies, I had all of them killed."

"Seriously?"

"Very much so, I won't tolerate people trying to stir shit up in my own territory, Even if somebody came to light with a dirty secret about me, I would allow it. It's part of the reason the people of Helenfel and all the rest of my territory trust me. When the bastard's began to show up I killed all of them."

"Weren't you afraid of offending the king?"

"Oh please, the fact that I am still alive is an offense to that man and his son, the war financially ruined him, and up until now I never gave the empire a reason move against me."

She shrugged smiling grimly. Going up against a trash King like Robert Velen was one thing, but going against the world's greatest super power was a whole different level. Although so long as she didn't get caught it would be nothing but baseless accusations.

"The reason I am alive, that thousands of my people are
