Chapter 3 : Day at School

It was the first day in her new school. She was so excited to enjoy it and to have new friends there. 

When she entered the school she searched for her locker. So she asked a girl who crossed her, "Where are the lockers here ?"

"I'm going there. Follow me". Ayah followed her and searched for her locker number. She found her locker and kept her things inside the locker. 

Then she asked the girl for her class. She was surprised because the girl who helped her too was in the same class as her. " I'm Sienna, Sienna Ashes. " she introduced herself.

"Ayah Richards " Ayah introduced herself and they both moved to their class.

Ayah was so happy that she and Kev were not in the same classes. She sighed in relief after knowing that. But she doesn't know that girls are dying to talk with him. Even the girls of her class were dying to talk with him. 

Bell rang so everyone started to settle in their places. She sat with Sienna and the teacher came inside. 

"She's Mrs. Sharon, she was strict. So try to be attentive in her classes. If she notices you for not listening then she'll send you to detention." Sienna whispered in her ears. 

"Ayah Richards ", Mrs. Sharon called her out. 

"She's the new student of our class so help her in studies" Mrs. Sharon introduced her to everyone and started the lesson. 

Vyan Adams who was named for his charm and has an equal girl fan base in that school which was close to Kev. Their fangirls will often get into the fight of who has more fan base.

When Vyan heard her name, he slightly moved from his seat to see who's Ayah. He was mesmerized by her beauty. He's the boy who won't stare at girls and ignore them. But Ayah's beauty made him stare at her for the entire lecture.

Mrs. Sharon is handling History, so not only Ayah everyone was getting bored. But Sienna's words run in her mind. So she tried to be attentive. 

Then the bell rang. They moved to the next classroom for another lecture. The time passed. It's lunch time. 

She saw Kev standing near the food court, he was with his friends. She didn't like Kev because of the incident that happened in the mall. She threw a rage look on him and went inside the court and brought her food and settled in a vacant table with Sienna.

Sienna noticed her gaze on Kev and asked her "Do you know him ?"

"No.. " Ayah replied at an instant. 

"He's Kevin Adrian, the most handsome guy in this school. Every girl in this school was dying to talk with him. But he won't even look at any of them." Sienna told her. 

When they were about to move from the food court, suddenly a boy came in front of them. He's none other than Vyan. Sienna was shocked to see Vyan there. Because she likes Vyan more than Kev.

"Hey Ayah" Vyan called her.

But she doesn't know who that is because she was not familiar with everyone in the class. She doesn't even know how many students are there in her class. So she simply saw him with a doubtful face.

"He's Vyan Adams, he's studying in our class" Sienna told her. 

"Hi Vyan" Ayah replied after nodding her head towards Sienna. 

"I want to talk to you. Alone" He said to Ayah and asked Sienna to leave from that place. Sienna was shocked because he had never talked with any of the girls in his class. 

But Ayah was not ready to talk with him. 

"I have some work. I'll talk to you later bye." Ayah stopped Sienna and went to the classroom with her. 

"Do you know something.?" Sienna asked Ayah. 

"What ?" She replied. 

"He never talked with any of the girls in this school, You are the only girl" her words made Ayah astonished. 

How can someone be like this without talking to the girls even to his class girls. This made Ayah think of it.

Then the lectures ran soon and it was dispersal time. After the dispersal Ayah and Sienna came out of their class. Sienna goes near the school bus. Yes. She'll go home by bus.

Ayah moved to the parking where she parked her car. She saw Vyan standing near her car. 

"How did he know that it was my car?" She thought to herself and moved ahead. 

"Hey Ayah" He greeted her. 

Now Ayah has a good impression on him because of Sienna's words. So she thought to ask him why he wanted to meet her. 

"Hey.. Why do you want to talk with me?"Ayah asked him all of a sudden. 

Vyan's voice started to stutter. It shows that he's so nervous to talk with her. 

"N - Nothing.. C - Can we be friends ?" 

Ayah went silent for a minute. 

"Sure" She replied and shook her hands and got inside her car with a smile.

Vyan's POV 

I didn't like to talk with girls until I saw her. When my teacher introduced her in class I was dumbstruck by seeing her. There's something in her which attracts me to like her. 

I can't listen to my lectures because her adorable face distracts me often and I can't look into anything because she's the one who runs in my mind from morning. 

I got a little courage and decided to talk with her during lunch. So I searched for her and found her in the food court. I'm so scared because I don't want her to hate me. I saw Ayah and Sienna both leaving the food court so I went near them.

"Hey Ayah"

She saw me with a doubtful face. Not only her, every girl will get stuck when some stranger calls them by their name. 

Sienna told her my name and about me. 

"I want to talk to you. Alone" I said to her not in a soft way. Because I haven't talked with any random girls so I don't know how to start a talk with a girl. I think she thought of me as a flirt or being dominant because of my words not being soft. 

" I have some work and I'll talk to you later bye. " Suddenly she said and left that place with Sienna. 

I got scared. Will she talk with me or will she hate me because of my behavior? A fear rushed inside me. 

I thought about talking to her again after the dispersal. So I waited near her car. Yes I found her car. That's not a big deal right?

I saw her coming towards her car. "Hey Ayah" I greeted her. 

"Hey.." She greeted me back. 

I got more nervous when she greeted me back. The words I prepared to talk vanished in a second. I got a stutter.

"N - Nothing.. C - Can we be friends ?" I asked her all of a sudden. 

She went silent and replied "Sure".

What? She agreed to be my friend. My heart started to beat faster than usual. Then she got into her car and left the school.
