Chapter 16

Margot

I don't know how long I slept, but when I woke it was no longer light outside.. I stretched my stiff limbs. They were  no longer sore and aching.. 

 I was still in Gavin's room, his bed, but  he wasn't here. I was alone.. I rose from the bed, encouraging my sleepy body to crank it into motion. The rumbling of my stomach was enough of a motivator to get up and move. 

I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror that stood in the corner of Gavin's room. The flimsy tank top hugged my curves, ny chest still overly exposed. I went to grab the sweatshirt my brother had given me that was thrown on the floor, but as I reached for it, memories flooded my mind of Gavin's distaste for it. Instead, I grabbed the shirt he had gotten for me and tossed it on. 

It smelled like him. I took a moment, inhaling his delicious scent. Ugh he smell
