Saturday, I was at the mall with Tasha in a comic book store looking for new mangas.

Then I suddenly remembered when Aaron had said , 'we have a lot in common.'

I wondered if he felt that way even now.

And as if on cue, the doorbell rang, and in he walked.

I tried my best not to follow him, but as faith would have it, we bumped into each other.

"Sorry," I said, and he walked on without a word.

I should really accept reality. We will never be together.

I doubled back for a comic I saw, and when I got there, Aaron came up at the same time.

Our hands touched, and I swore I felt a spark, but I guess it was just me because he didn't seem to have the same reaction I did.

"Sorry," I said, and again, no response.

But what did I expect?

After paying, I hurried out the shop and left Tasha there so I could catch my breath.

While standing there, a thought came to me.

When Tasha came out, I grabbed her hand.

"Let's go to Madison Park."
