Lily’s POV

The chattering outside my door woke me up from sleep. The bright ray of the sun pierced my eyes as I opened my eyes. I rolled and tossed on the bed as I yawned loudly and I stretched my hand over my head to draw the curtain to prevent the ray from my eyes as though I was going to remain on the bed for the day.

I had been avoiding Alpha Darius after the incident at the forest, I made sure I avoided errands that would lead me to his chambers. Selene also reduced the way she always sends for me to run errands for her. I loved the fact that they both kept me out of their sight.

I was a little bit glad that I had been living in peace for the past few days. The sight of Selene being all lovey dovey with Alpha Darius anytime I’m around them always made my heart ache. She always tries to make me feel jealous whenever I’m in their presence.
