Selene’s POV

I couldn’t believe my eyes as Alpha Malik walked inside the room. I grabbed my gown quickly and slipped into it.

Stefan walked away from me and excused himself out of the room, he was embarrassed. I stood dumbfounded as I tried to understand the happenings around me.

I wasn’t bothered by the fact that he had caught me in the middle of something embarrassing with Stefan.

“Are you the infamous they have been talking about?” I asked, my eyes wide opened in shock.

He stepped forward in silence and stared at me for a while. I wondered what he was thinking about as I tied the rope around my gown.

“You couldn’t resist your sexual urge these past few days?” He asked.

I wondered what he was insinuating because I never had intimacy with any man whilst myself and Darius were apart.

“Why did you help me escape from the palace?” I ignored the question he had asked.

Stefan had gone out of the house to restock the kitchen.He restricted me from going out of the house for anything, and he also made sure that he locked the house from the outside so that I wouldn’t be able to escape. It had been days since I had escaped from the palace to yet another prison. I had been trying to find out who had orchestrated my escape but Stefan had refused to open up.
