Darius POV

I opened my eyes and the first thing that came to my mind were the unanswered questions about who Lily really is. Everything about her had been bothering me for a while and I couldn’t take it anymore. I tossed and turned on my bed in frustration. ‘I need to confront her and get her to tell me everything she knows,’ I mumbled. I stood up from the bed and grabbed one of my robes from the closet wearing it as I walked towards the door.

I strode out of my room, my feet pressing against the soft carpet as I climbed down the stairs, heading to Lily’s room. The morning sunlight casted long shadows on the walls which made the hallways bright and the cool breeze blew my robe as it flowed behind me. Chatters from the maids and guards filled the air as they moved around the big palace busy with their various chores.
