CHAPTER 1: A Strange Teacher.

Steadily little rustling, the sound of hurried steps tramples the arid leaves. Autumn has arrived, bringing cold winds through my brown hair.

I cringed and walked faster and faster, but the wind kept teasing me.

The stronger the wind blew, the more the red-yellow leaf blades fell so that the young leaves gradually disappeared.

It's a rainy town, Seattle.

"Come on, it's too late."I muttered.

As an foreign girl, coming to Seattle for the first time, a new place with a new learning environment makes me feel a little surprised and uncomfortable, especially the climate here, very humid and always drizzles.

Seattle Central Community College, where I attended.

Today was my first day and I signed up three months later than the rest. It took me a while to find a place to live.

When the drizzle began to fall again, I rushed to the elevator while holding a small piece of paper that told my classroom.

By the time I stepped out of the elevator, the hallway was empty. It might have been class time. At my fastest speed, I ran straight to the end of the hallway because that was where I was going to study.

Not daring to go to the front door, I fumbled in and opened the back door and crept in, positioning my seat, putting my ass down.

Luckily, nobody noticed, so I sighed with relief.

The class was quite small, there were only twenty or so people, all taking notes. I looked up towards the podium and sat down on the table.

I wondered and leaned forward to seeing what this guy was writing, "Curriculum vitae" but a copy.

"Excuse me, where did you get that?" I asked in the lowest tone.

"Well, there's a sheet on the professor's desk." The boy also answered softly.

Thanks to him, I walked over to the teacher's desk.

The professor seems quite young compared to other middle-aged professors. Sitting on the professor's desk, he bowed his head as if he was intentionally writing something, black hair neat and monotonous ivory-stick shirt.

"Sir. I would like to ask for my resume." The soft voice seemed to come from the sound of my nose.

The man raised his eyes, my heart skipped a beat.

Very closely, I stood in front of the professor, the teacher's desk was so high that I looked extremely small. Narrowing his eyes at the deep voice coming from the man.

"Late?"

"Yes."

He stared at me silently, his eyes as deep as the ocean.

After quite a while, he asked, "Name?"

"My... My name..." I suddenly got nervous.

The man glanced at me, my shoulder was shaking slightly, and I hurriedly answered.

"You can call me Alexandra or Alexis, in the transcription of presence had my name…"

I talked more and more quietly, the last sound seemingly inaudible.

"Back to your seat." The professor ordered coldly.

I spun back, walking slowly with a warm face.

Isn't he just a teacher, why talk so curtly? The cold-looking person didn't even look at me. But things intrigued me more than that, wasn't he too good-looking for the professors?

The skin is white, the amber eyes are yellow, lips are quite pale and there is only redness at the bottom of the lips, the nose is high and straight as if molded. What? Did he wear makeup when he went to school? Human or demon? How can it be so beautiful?

For an entire session, I didn't listen to anything, the information I knew was that this professor was my class teacher, the advanced math teacher.

Looking towards the podium, the tall man was rambling about a math problem, every word of English rushing into my brain so I didn't want to hear it.

"Knowing that I have not chosen business management, how can I swallow advanced mathematics?" I whispered.

The more I thought about it, the more I laid my face down on the table and fell asleep. It has only been three days since I was used to the hours, my body was tired.

"Today's lesson ends, the assignment in the book you solved the first one for me, next time we will solve." The Professor let go of his pen, the book in his hand was closing as well. Amber eyes stared at the light brown head, eyes narrowed and dilated as if thinking of something.

"Professor, our class doesn't have a class president yet. Why don't you elect the class president?" The boy sitting at the table at the head of the door suddenly raised his hand to speak.

The whole class heard that most of them agreed that they wanted to choose the class president.

"Fine."

He picked up the attendance book and looked at each of them, his eyes suddenly moving then flashed a faint smile.

"Alexandra."

The sleeping little girl suddenly heard a low sound poking straight into my heart. Feeling itchy. I opened my eyes and looked around, blinking my big black eyes and wondered. Why? Who called my name?

"Alexandra."

Once again my name was raised. Large flexible eyes stared towards the podium startled as the faced golden amber eyes. I suddenly stood up even though I didn't understand anything.

"She'll be the class president." Professor said,

Those dark eyes suddenly widened, and I looked around in surprise. The murmur grew louder and louder.

Most people in the class didn't know me because in the last three months of admission I didn't show up. This was the first time the class had met an Asian girl, so everyone was surprised, but they were even more surprised when I was chosen as the class president.

"Any problem?"

The whole class said "no" in unison.

"Disbanded, the class president stayed."

22 people in one minute were out of the classroom, only I and the strange teacher. I looked out the window and whispered "it's getting rain again".

"Sir…" I stood in front of the teacher's desk across from the teacher, asking softly but not finishing the sentence. The amber eyes looked up at me - a pair of beautiful eyes.

"Before every session, you will be in charge of bringing pens and textbooks from my office to class. At the end, bringing them back to the old place, there will also be times when you take the test, you bring it to the office and mark it there."

Talking a lot, I secretly laughed in my heart, thinking the professor would be very aggressive but unexpectedly little friendly. The low voice sounded very quiet, the face was as beautiful as a god, the body was tall, and if standing next to him, I looked like an ant.

Not to mention, those eyes were really too attractive for me.

"It's beautiful."

"What?" The amber eyes looked up at me and I suddenly wondered what I was talking about.

"I mean I'll do what you say."

The man didn't seem to care, saying: "Come to the office with me."
