CHAPTER 5: A Murder.

This place was the professor's building, but the scream came from the building next door.

I shuddered, my heart pounded, thinking there might be a thief or a serial killer like in the horror movies

The scream continued and ended, followed by a series of noises that sounded like broken glass. I panicked even more, I opened the door and ran straight down the hall. While running through the security room, I saw the cameras in action, thinking for a minute, I decided to go inside to see what had ha

There was no security guard in the room. I took a quick look and checked the C block. The camera caught the silhouette of a person running out of the library.

I pulled back the previous search. Surprisingly, the screaming earlier came from the head of the library, what's she doing at school now? It is also possible that she is about to leave because all the electrical equipment in the room is off.

Chief librarian was standing in the corner with the moonlight shining in and the other standing in the hidden corners. Suddenly she was pulled into the air, she screamed and fell and then like a smoke she evaporated and disappeared.

I panicked, what's going on? Did her body disappear suddenly?

On reflection, I saw once again the window breaking, a huge black figure rushing into it, looking like a big beast rushing into the bled and they jostled each other. I could only see the person jumping through the door, the terrifying speed of jumping onto the balcony and climbing onto the school deck and disappearing outside the window .

There were no cameras on the terrace so I was not able to see what was happening. I took a deep breath, regained my composure and decided to go find out. Running to the elevator, pressing the button on the top floor, waiting for the elevator to go up, I suddenly remembered what Ryan said to me in the afternoon.

"Have you... heard any rumours at school?"

My fists were clenched, my heart almost strete. "Ding", elevator doors have opened.

Outside the terrace, there was a faint moon glow, in addition, there was no light in front. I leaned against the wall, getting closer to the front, gently opening the terrace door.

Suddenly there was a loud thud, the sound of the wind and a fierce groan, and my heart was beating faster and faster.

Looking at my head off the wall, I saw a great beast with gray fur wrestling with two black people. They moved their feet and jumped very quickly, momentarily slamming hard on the beast, which splashed far away, right next to the wall I was standing on.

Then he got up rapidly, breathing and groaning. He was probably injured and I saw his side bleeding and falling on the brick ground, dark red.

The beast rushing towards it, I rolled my eyes and suddenly rushed to stand next to the large beast, holding it tightly in one hand as if to stop the black man and shouting.

"STOP."

Two people in the air rushed and stopped when they saw me, they circled around and landed on the ground. They still wore black dresses, large hats covering their faces revealing only blood red lips.

"Oh, so it's you, hasn't he dealt with you yet?"

"This's a good time, we need some freshening up."

They laughed and walked over. I felt that these two voices were familiar to me, but I still didn't clearly understand who they belonged to. I desperately embraced this beast growling by the neck, although it was wounded, still extremely aggressive.

Not knowing where to find my courage, I stared at them attentively.

"Get off!"

"Oh... how brave!"

Saying this, they rushed toward me. The beast suddenly jumped, biting the black-robed man's arm and throwing it away with his strength, then he knocked the other man down with his big hind legs, he let out a fierce roar, and repeatedly licked his sharp teeth.

I was sitting in the doorway, and suddenly behind me, I was sitting at the door, and all of a sudden, behind me, a voice rang out.

"Dare you, boring with living?"

"Hmm… Clinton again, come on."

The men dressed in black descended from the terrace and disappeared.

I turned to horror, a beautiful girl, short blond lemon hair and bright orange amber eyes, her bodice floating. The moonlight behind the girl made her look even better.

"Thank you." Without her, I might have been in danger.

"Never mind." The girl slid over me, towards the beast.

"You're hurt, can you turn into a human?"

She finished speaking, the beast suddenly turned into a young man, his bare upper body revealed solid muscles, his right flank was injured, but the blood had stopped flowing. The young man stood and walked toward me, leaning down.

"Thank you very much for what you did."

"Ah... it's okay... Just the right thing to do."

I said while waving my hand, embarrassed to face the young man with his hard body exposed to me.

"My name is Marcus. For the sake of saving my life I vow my whole life to protect you."

I gasped, did I save anyone?

"... it doesn't have to be... you saved me earlier... it's not worth it."

I'm getting more and more confused, this guy doesn't need to follow me all my life, right?

"He belongs to the bloodline of the purebred wolf, if he is saved by someone, the family of the wolf shall follow as master. Ah, I'm Joanna Clinton, you can call me Joan."

"I'm Alexis... But you say he's a werewolf, is there really a werewolf in the world?"

"This planet isn't just human beings... there was so much you didn't know. But you were brave as well. " Joan laughed lightly.

"That said, you must not be human. You're like him? A werewolf? " I'm curious.

"She's the opposite of us, not a werewolf." Marcus stood beside her and spoke up.

"Oppose... enemy... vampires?"

Joan and Marcus were laughing, which I guess they were. My mind was momentarily spinning in a tangle of thoughts.

"But.. You two are enemies, so why are you helping him?"

"This..." Joan was about to speak again, but Marcus stopped her.

"Alexis, you shouldn't know too much... really dangerous, it's late at night, you go home, I'll see you later."

"Yeah, that's right, see you later."

Joan grabbed Marcus, and they both jumped off the terrace. I was about to say goodbye, but looking down has been just a space with dim lights.

It was like I was just hallucinating.
