CHAPTER 4: Rumous.

Ryan pulled me over to the big menu on the wall introducing the food, but I didn't pay attention, I just felt a little annoyed and quite embarrassed that this guy was so strangely enthusiastic about me.

Subconsciously told me it was best to stay away from this young man.

"Creamy noodles are also delicious." After saying a lot, Ryan turned to look at me, smiling wide. But I intentionally ignored that beautiful smile.

"No need, only a burger."

"Such a little?"

"I'm not a big eater."

The American burger was several times bigger than the one in our area, eating one that was already full enough. I picked up a hamburger and bought a glass of hot milk and then I went back to the table. Ryan came after me, too.

"May I show you the schoolhouse? There are plenty of nice places here."

"I've got classes this afternoon."

"So I'm with you anyway, I don't have class this afternoon." After I said Ryan pulled up his chin and smiled at me.

Oddly enough, that guy, I deliberately cooled him down and he was always so excited?

No need to worry about the boy. I concentrated on my monotone breakfast. Warm milk makes me more enthusiastic when it comes to cold weather. While cleaning my dining table, I discovered that many students were watching me with odd eyes.

After lunch, I walked toward the classroom, and beside me was another person. Although I told Ryan not to come with me, he was insistent.

In the classroom everyone turned their eyes to me, simply because I was accompanied by a young man of extraordinary beauty, he went everywhere he smiled and greeted others, so a lot of students here liked him. Obviously he and his friends were very popular at school.

Especially Ryan, his looks are liberal and dynamic.

Olivia saw me and immediately ran over: "I was looking for you, we had to go to lunch together, but I can't find you, where did you go?"

"I've just returned from the cafeteria."

"Come on... hey, are you Ryan?" Olivia held my hand and trolled his eyes as she looked at Ryan standing behind me, her face turned red.

"Are you the friend of Alexis?"

"Yeah."

"I'm also her friend, we have to be friends as well." Ryan laughs slightly, he reaches out to shake hands with Olivia.

"Yes, I'm very pleased, Ryan." Olivia shyly took Ryan's hand.

After settling on the seat, the professor came in as well. The speakers here are for the most part seniors, they rarely see young speakers. The professor started talking briefly about the topic for the new arrivals, Olivia started chatting as usual.

"Hey, how did you get to know Ryan, he's so good-looking, and you know him and these friends can you get to know him? You know how authoritative they are.

"No, he followed me by himself." I responded quietly.

"Truly, perhaps he likes you."

I chuckled slightly and turned to look at Ryan. From the beginning of the class until now, he has always been this way, silent and quiet.

Why didn't he go home and get some sleep? He was such a weirdo because he wanted to follow me. Why did he approach me? Did I have anything really attractive to him? Or did he have some evil intentions towards me?

I watched him meditate and then I sighed, turning my eyes towards the window, I moaned inside, it rained again.

When the class was over, Ryan invited us out for ice cream. I refused, but Olivia begged me to get there.

Seattle is very calm, the fresh air brings with its sea fragrance, cool but also very pleasant. We bought some fast food. Throughout the process, only Ryan and Olivia spoke for a long time and I answered a few questions.

"Alexis, is your home nearby?" said Ryan.

"About ten minutes' walk," I answered casually.

"Well, you're Asian, but you have really good English."

"I learned that at a young age."

When I walked out of that bar. It was also dark, but fortunately it was not raining. Olivia said she was with her family, so she said goodbye and left first.

"I'll take you home."

In the bright twilight, Ryan stood there, smiling, his eyes narrowed, his teeth sheer white.

"No need. I figured out that the teacher gave me the grade, so I should go back to school."

Ryan's smile got toughened up.

"Back in school?" So you'll be home really late.

I was pissed in my heart, wasn't it because he pushed me out? Otherwise, I would have done the job and not been that late.

Although annoyed, I did not show my face, I said, "It's okay, my house is very close to the school."

"Have you... heard any rumors at school?" Ryan said in a murmur.

"Rumors?" I've only been here a couple of days, what rumors have I heard?

Ryan hesitated a long time, and then he said, "That's all right... you just need to remember carefully."

"Of course," I replied.

Ryan was giggling, strangely. I didn't care any more so I turned in the opposite direction from him and walked to the school. And just when I didn't notice, Ryan's eyes suddenly changed color... a glowing red as a sunset.

I quickly walked into the professor's office, it was already dark on the way, so the professor's building was most likely empty. The old bush trembled against the wind, the cold temperature enveloped my torso, the lights in the hallway darkened, everything around me was very calm.

Click on the passcode and open the door to enter. The room always had a chimney, so it was warm, contrary to the cold air outside. I pulled my jacket off and went to the table to continue marking the examinations.

The space is extremely calm, only the melodic instrumental music on my smartphone. For a long time, I relaxed and walked around the room watching.

Standing beside the teacher's coffee machine, I thought for a while and decided to try a cup. The coffee was very bitter, and there wasn't any sugar here, so bitter that the teacher could drink it. I missed a little bit, but I didn't dare give up, I took a breath. Because of this, I felt a lot more alert, so I sat down at the table and finished.

It was already eight o'clock. I packed my bags, put on my jacket and prepared to leave. Suddenly I heard a scream somewhere. I froze.
