Upholding Justice

"Alexa, what have you been doing?"

Alexa held her lips. She still couldn't believe it. She dared to kiss the king on the cheek.

"Alexa! What are you doing there? Come on, hurry up and help clean up!" shouted one of the maids who didn't like Alexa.

Alexa immediately approached. She took a cloth and then cleaned up the traces of blood in the palace kitchen.

Suddenly, there was a maid who splashed Alexa's body with blood from behind. The maids burst out laughing after successfully bullying Alexa. Alexa was in shock. The stench of blood was so overpowering that it made her feel nauseous.

"This is the first time I know that there are lycans who don't like to drink blood," said a female servant.

"Plus, she can't walk fast, and she is very weak," added another maid.

"Why are you glaring at me like that? You dare?" snapped the maid.

Alexa wiped the blood from her face with her hand. The maids' treatment was too much for her. Even though she had never looked for trouble with those servants.
