เข้าสู่ระบบAudrey's POV
It's been over three hours since the attack and we were currently seated in a plane that obviously belonged to him because you can't tell me he booked a plane just for himself but my mind wouldn't stop going over everything. Creepy guy sat at the other end his gaze still fixed on whatever it was he was doing on that phone like he didn't just kill people, the fact that there was no trace of blood or even a scratch on him just made everything so much scarier, "You should learn not to stare so much" he spoke up without bothering to look up, "I am not staring" I shot back, "Please enlighten me then, what are you doing?" he asked a light tease in his voice but his deep voice and brooding attitude didn't make it sound that way, "Who were those people, who were they looking for, what did you do to them?" I asked the questions running through my mind not really expecting a direct answer from him, "Who they are is not your problem but if you are so eager to know they were after you" he replied dryly his gaze landing on me for a brief second before he went back to whatever had the greater part of his attention like he didn't just tell me I was meant to be killed a few hours ago. "Here you go Ma'am" the plane attendant I had not noticed earlier offered holding up a tray of snacks and a glass of orange juice, "I am not interested, you can't even offer proper food" I shot directly at creepy guy who acted like he had not even noticed the young woman or me, "I am so sorry Ma'am but it is not advisable to take anything heavy while on the plane maybe you can eat something better when you get down" she tried to explain but she didn't seem to understand my anger was not directed at her, "I am still not interested you can take it away" I replied adamantly ignoring the urge to at least eat something to keep myself going, "I would advise you to put this little attitude of yours aside and eat up, like I said you would need all the energy you can get" he addressed before she could speak up his voice firm and strong as he spoke, something about him just screamed dominance in a scary but intriguing manner, "What do you even want from me" I spat out angrily, "You can drop the tray and go" He instructed referring to the woman who simply nodded and did as she was told like some sort of robot, "You think you can control me like that?" I added irritated, with an expressionless face he glanced up at me and looked away almost immediately without saying a word like I was speaking to myself, "Rude much" I huffed angrily as I stared at the tray that sat on the little table by my side.A bite or two wouldn't hurt though. With that thought I carried the tray placing it on my laps and dug in ignoring the knowing look creepy guy kept sending my way as I ate. *** "Good morning Ma'am" I heard someone greet although the voice sounded so far away, "Ma'am?" the voice called out a bit closer this time as I struggled to open my eyes, why am I surprisingly so weak and tired, "Carry her, she won't be waking up just yet" his voice came in next, the certainty in his voice unnerving and then it clicked, how did I even miss it, that bastard drugged me, "Okay sir" the other voice spoke up before I was carefully lifted from wherever it was I was laid , I could make out their voices and the little movements but I just couldn't open my eyes or move, "Keep her in one of the guestrooms" his voice cane in again although he didn't sound as close as he did before, "Noted Sir" the man who presume is the one carrying me replied in a monotone voice as I felt myself slipping back into the darkness. *** "Ugh" I groaned as my hands quickly flew to my head trying to soothe the headache, I slowly opened my eyes trying to adjust to the bright light coming from the window, "From the information given to me you were supposed to wake up one hour ago, meaning your body is weak" someone spoke up startling me, "Who are you and what are you doing here?" I asked quickly sitting up as fear gripped me,what is with all these creepy guys and sneaking up on people, "Oh sorry, mind my manners,I am Ivan, Don Ivan Falcone and you are?" He answered a small smile I didn't trust plastered on his face, "I am pretty sure you don't kidnap random people so for you to have kidnapped me I am pretty sure you have all the information you need" I snapped, "Hmm,you are very smart and correct too" he chuckled, "Wait,Don Ivan?,do you mean a Don like a mafia leader? Or that's just your name?" I asked ignoring my racing heart as the thought crossed my mind, I couldn't have possible fallen into the hands of the mafia right?, "Like I said you a very smart girl,Audrey" he replied his smile widening while my heart rate increased, "Seems like you have an idea of the mafia,I don't have much work to do then" he continued, but my mind was already in a world of its own as thoughts ran through my head, why will the mafia want anything to do with me?, "What do you want from me?" I asked slowly, "You would find out in soon enough but it the meantime I would advise you to make yourself comfortable cause you would be here for a very long time" he answered beaming at me, he didn't look as scary and intimidating as creepy guy but there was still something sinister and off about him, "A very long time?" I repeated shakily, "Yes, so just feel at home" he replied chuckling, walking away before I could say anything, why do I feel like I am going to pay for the crimes of Katelyn. ~~~~Dante's POV"Hope you didn't scare her with your serial killer tendencies?" Ivan joked as he walked into the bar located in the mafia house where I sat, spotting a glass of liquor."I really don't care, she should be thanking me for saving her ass," I snapped, pouring another shot for myself."Was drugging her necessary?" he asked, the same question he had asked me when she was brought in unconscious."She kept acting up, and you know I don't deal with that very well. It was the best thing to do," I answered dryly."Well, she needs food and enough sleep. She looks horrible," he said, grabbing a glass of his own."And you are telling me because?" I raised an eyebrow."She will be staying with you, so obviously she is your responsibility," he answered like he was stating facts."You didn't mention this earlier. This wasn't part of the deal," I shot up."You never asked," he clicked, chuckling lowly to himself as he gulped down his alcohol before wal

Audrey's POVI sat by the window, watching the raindrops fall to the ground as tears fell freely from my eyes. The hunger pangs in my stomach were a persistent reminder that I needed to find something to eat, but sadly, I was out of groceries-and I couldn't, and would not, go out there without any assurance I wouldn't be shot on sight. I hadn't been able to move since last night. The fear of being killed was just a feeling I couldn't seem to shake off.Mrs. Rachel called earlier this morning, but I couldn't bring myself to tell her anything, even though my whole insides screamed otherwise. What if she gets killed, too? I can't let that happen. The loud banging on the front door pulled me out of my reverie as fear gripped me.He's here for me again. Is he really going to murder me in my own home?I don't want to die-not yet.The thoughts racing through my mind fueled my panic as I frantically searched for a way out that didn't involve the front door."Maybe I could just climb down from
Dante's POVI stared at the pool of blood at my feet a sense of satisfaction filling me, it feels good to get rid of certain people, I wish he didn't give up like some putty, it would have been a lot more fun if I got to put a few more knives in him before he died so easily,"Don" I greeted as I picked up my phone walking towards my black Rolls Royce that sat in the middle of the dark lonely road,"My office now" he ordered, ending the call before I could even reply, so much for going home for some liquor. Sometimes being the right-hand man to a well-known and dangerous Don has its disadvantages but like he will always say there is no better man for the job. ~~~~~"I have already sent some men to clean up the mess you made," he said as I walked in his face buried in his paperwork with his usual scowl on his face,"Would have loved his dearest wife to see his body on the news though" I scoffed making myself comfortable on the sofa beside the wall
Audrey's POV "Audrey, Audrey, Audrey" I heard someone call out although the voice sounded so very far away, "Audrey, wake up it is late already," The voice said again a little louder this time, "Huh?..." I muttered drowsily still very much asleep, "Audrey it's almost midnight, you need to go back to your dorm now," The voice said making me jump out of the chair, "Shit, shit, shit" I cursed hurriedly packing my things, "Calm down, I can help you back if you wouldn't mind" Mrs Rachel the librarian offered a small scowl on her face, "No, No it's fine, I can find my way back, it is just a few streets away nothing much, thank you" I politely declined pushing the rim of my glasses closer to my face, "Hmm, if you say so" she replied disapproval written all over her face, "If it will make you feel better, I will call you when I get to my dorm, my roommate won't be home anyways" I suggested, adding the extra information to ease her tension because I know how much she doesn't fancy my
