When Daven learnt that the company that had been sponsoring his extravagant lifestyle had been sold , he flew all the way to werewolf city.

Alpha Makael, his father, was pleased that, at least, his prodigal son was back even though it took losing his company to Ethan.

Daven wanted to know who had bought his father's company. As soon as he arrived, he went looking for his father in his study. Alpha Makael was seated, deep in thoughts. He was a sore loser.

After Ethan had bought the company from him, he had watched as the profits in the company skyrocketed.

“It's my personal assistant,” he muttered as he saw the pictures of Ethan and Abigail together. “They had it all planned. She must have done everything to make the company fail in my hand and when I went bankrupt, Alpha Ethan came to buy it.”

He was thinking hard about how to claim his company back when the door of his study was rudely opened. The anger vanished the moment he saw Daven.

He sat upright, pushing files he was not meant to see, away.

“Daven,” he started. “You didn't tell me you were returning home.”

Dave didn't share the same excitement as his father. He pouted like a spoiled child, stopped midway into the office, and crossed his arms and legs.

“What did you do?” he asked.

“Did you fly all the way to ask me that, son? You could have called.”

He uncrossed his legs and walked to a chair. Pulling it, he say down. There was an unfinished bottle of Merlot on the table. He grabbed it and swirled it slowly.

“I didn't get the chance to buy a bottle of wine because you said we were broke and here you are, enjoying a bottle of Merlot.”

Alpha Makael chuckled

“That's an old bottle. You can have it all to yourself.”

Daven scoffed. “I wasn't asking, dad.”

He turned the mouth of the bottle into his, gurling and savouring every taste, until the rich, expensive wine finished.

He set the empty bottle on the table with a thud while his father watched amusingly. He had missed Daven. It was over four years ago when he went abroad for studies. He had enjoyed living with the humans and refused to return home.

But now he was back.

And back with questions.

“Who bought the company, father?” He asked.

Makael sighed and relaxed. The mere mention that his company had been bought was a thorn in his flesh. He didn't want to talk about it, especially not to his son who was supposed to inherit the company.

“Don't you read the news?” He asked instead.

“News? I couldn't even afford light bill because you said we were broke. I had to borrow from friends to fly down here. Imagine how I feel seeing you comfortably seated with a bottle of wine. And now you ask me if I haven't got TV.”

Alpha Makael sighed again.

“If you must know, it's Ethan.”

Ethan. He knew that name.

“Ethan?”

“Alpha Ethan of the Frey's pack.”

He raised his brows in recollection. Yes. Wasn't he the Alpha of the strongest pack?

“So, this is about showing his powers, isn't it?”

Alpha Makael leaned closer now, his face grave. He knew how impulsive his son could be.

“Don't do anything, Daven. I'm handling it. You should have a good time since you're here now. I will handle Alpha Ethan myself.”

Daven nodded and stood up. As he did, he noticed the files his father had pushed aside while he walked into the room. There was no mistaking that the man in the photo was Alpha Ethan. But he wasn't alone.

There was a woman there.

He knew Ethan had divorced his Luna many years ago and he had been alone all this time. Was he married again? And why was his father hiding a picture of him and a woman?

He leaned forward, snatching the picture before his father could stop him. Alpha Makael gathered the rest of the documents and hid them in his locker.

“Who's she?” Daven demanded.

She looked young. Much younger than Ethan. And she was pretty. Daven had no idea that Alpha Ethan had a daughter.

“It's none of your business, Daven.”

But he held on to it. “It's my company, father. I'm heir to the company you sold. The least you can do is tell me who she is or I'll find out myself.”

“She's just a worker. She used to be my PA.”

Daven stared at her again. “You had such a beautiful PA and you sold the company? She would have been mine.”

“You'll say no such!” Alpha Makael thundered. “She's a hybrid.”

It didn't matter to Daven. He had dated hybrids, humans, and wolves. Whatever stigma was in werewolf city had been erased from his head the moment he stepped out.

“It doesn't matter,” he responded, ignoring his father's warning. “As long as she's beautiful.”

“Stay away from the hybrid. You should return abroad if you'll only cause me trouble.”

Daven held onto the photo, smirked, and walked away. Whoever she was, he was going to find her and have a taste of her.

He was back to werewolf city, and he wasn't planning on wasting any second. As he left his father's study, he called for one of the enforcers. He tossed the photo at him..

“I want you to find this girl. Tell me everything you know about her.”

Two days later, he was in bed, idling, when his phone buzzed.

“She's Abigail,” the enforcer told him.

Abigail.

There was something sexy about the name.

“Abigail,” he repeated.

“She's a hybrid,” the enforcer added with an edge to his tone.

“It doesn't matter. Where does she live?”

“I'll text you the address.”

“Perfect.”

He dressed up and took one of his father's favourite car. The enforcer had sent the address and he drove to it. It was a ramshackled building. He remained in his car, wondering whether he had the courage to enter a building like that. He was still contemplating when the front door opened and she stepped out.

Abigail was a beauty to behold. Her blonde hair were in curls, falling gracefully over her shoulder.

She was like a diamond in the rough.

“Where are you off to?” He asked himself as he watched her wait for a cab. He tapped his finger anxiously, and as soon as her ride arrived and drove her off, he trailed it, determined that he was going to have her that night

Ethan took Abigail's hand.“I really want to show you in every way that you're my choice,” he said. “So, I'll stay with you tonight.”“And tomorrow?” She asked, teasingly. “Every other night…till forever.”It felt good hearing that. Ethan figured he would deal with Bianca's problem by morning of the next day. He was so sure that she wasn't pregnant and after the test result had confirmed that, his would send her away, a mistake he wouldn't make again. He pulled her to himself, just to taste the sweetness of her lips. “I've missed doing this,” he confessed. “I've missed your laughs. You have no idea.”Abigail slapped his chest with mock annoyance. “You left me all alone.”He wrapped her with his arms. “I'm sorry, my pigeon.”“Pigeon.”“‘cause you're cute and smallish.”Abigail smiled. “It was you, wasn't it? The person who did my job.”“Stayed all night for you.”Her smile widened. Then she raised her head. “Oh my gosh! It was you. You sent me that money.”Ethan didn't affirm but hi

  • Forbidden love: The Alpha is mine    Instructions

Bianca's heart had been racing erratically ever since Ethan requested for a proof of pregnancy, and worse, Alex, his over keen assistant was right there with her to ensure she didn't doctor the result. She sat there, hoping for an escape. If Ethan found out that her pregnancy claim was a lie, he would be mad at her deception and lock her out. She played with her fingers nervously while Alex sat there, waiting for her to go in. He had received clear instructions from his boss to follow through the process. And seeing how nervous she was, he knew she was hiding something. But for the life of him, he would never understand why his boss had decided to go back to his ex wife. Alpha Ethan had been barely alive until he found Abigail. He had seen how much he changed and he didn't care about the age difference. And the past few days without her had been torturous for him.He could never understand Alpha Ethan.“Why are you here anyway?” Bianca barked at him. “Isn't Ethan coming?”She was des

  • Forbidden love: The Alpha is mine    she can't remember

Ethan held her hand and moved dangerously close to her. She felt his warm breath against her ears. It spoke of burning desires, a call that awakened hers. But Abigail wanted so badly to resist, yet, she wanted more badly to give in, to forget about everything even for the moment and fall into the arms of the man she was still obviously in love with. “Why are you doing this to me —to us?” Ethan's voice, laced with deep desire, croaked into her ear.She shut her eyes and held her breath. With him so close, it was difficult to decide, to remain angry, or to say no.She moaned with need. Even her body couldn't deny that she missed him, and more than ever, she wanted him, yet there and now.Ethan took cue from her moan and found her lips. They crashed into each other, each touch, a reminder of the passion they ignited in one another and a testament that they were meant for each other. Abigail didn't remember Bianca and her pregnancy and Ethan didn't think of Daven and what relationship h

  • Forbidden love: The Alpha is mine    Too late to regret

It was too late for regrets, Abigail knew that. So she didn't apologise. She glared at him like how she wished she could glare at every wolf who had called her a hybrid or looked down on her. He was bearing the brunt because he couldn't mind his business.Despite the gravity of her words and the way it made him feel initially, Daven realised he wasn't really mad. It soothed him, strangely.Wasn't it the truth?Besides, he had never had never had anyone speak to him that way. Even abroad, the ladies always kept their thoughts to themselves because of what they could gain from him. And back here, he was the Alpha's son.“You insulted me first,” Abigail declared. “Do you not realise it? You don't respect my decision because I am a hybrid.”Daven nodded. She was right. He had overstepped. He started the car and took the opposite lane, returning back to the office. Abigail didn't want this ride home. She didn't want to be in the space of someone who constantly ridiculed her existence. Wa

  • Forbidden love: The Alpha is mine    Office fight

It was a relief to Abigail. For one, she had thought she had been set up. And she really needed a new card after Daven rudely broke hers. She was actually on her last cent and she knew how excruciatingly difficult it was to get a card at the bank.Well, unless your blood screamed pure wolf. She could afford to frown now.“You made me beg for nothing.”It was infuriating being around someone who enjoyed making fun of others. But for now, Abigail kept her cool. She needed him to help her sort her card issues. After then, she would tell him to stay the hell away from her. She wasn't a hybrid that needed some pure wolf’s shadow to navigate her way around. She had been doing just fine before every one of them.Daven chuckled and led the way. “I didn't know you had a tear in you,” he said as he turned towards the bank. He owed Abigail a new card. But that was now really the reason he had decided to help her. Truth was, he couldn't stop thinking about her and desiring to hold her. And his

  • Forbidden love: The Alpha is mine    Feeling Proud

Daven held the steering, feeling proud. He had the woman he wanted, seated beside him. And even though her face was moulded into a scowl, a win was a win.Abigail sat quietly, wondering where Daven was taking her to. The day was bright and a public place was a huge no. She didn't want to be in another scandal. Mia had told her straight. She would abandon her. She couldn't even survive another scandal, being looked at as she walked the street and hated by even the unloved - the hybrids. She faced Daven. “Lunch break is thirty minutes,” she reminded him. He probably had never worked, she thought. And had no regard for time. “Where are you taking me to?”Daven flashed a smile that grated on her nerves. “Chill. Will ya? And don't worry, it's my company. No one can sack you.”“It's not yours if you're not CEO,” she shot quietly. She understood boys like Daven. Always having things done for them their whole life and even too lazy right now as a grown adult to reason with their brains. The
