I stood at the villa reading through the checklist, ensuring I didn't forget anything. I didn't know how long this mission would take, but I would be prepared for the worst.

A couple of months, I estimated silently. After all, it wasn't us clinching the partnership. I just stood there as a representative and made the pros and cons known to whoever CEO he was.

The oldster still hadn't disclosed the information to me. I didn't have an idea who or where to meet in Tokyo. According to them, there would be no spoilers.

“Let me help you with that, miss,” One of the maids approached me, offering her help with the list.

“It's fine. I got this,” I replied, waving her off.

I liked doing things myself. And even at that, I was at the last item anyway.

“You could focus on Aria instead,” I said.

She nodded, backing away.

I slipped into a Nike canvas and donned a coat as I walked out of the room, holding my suitcase under one hand.

A private helicopter was waiting for us. I smil
