Edrick’s POV

Adrian stood beside me, his face tight as he stared at the underground room filled with weapons. The place smelled like iron and dust, and the sight of the guns and bombs lined up across the floor made my blood boil.

“We need to evacuate everything,” Adrian said. “Move it out tonight before someone notices. If Leonardo finds out we discovered his stash, he will try something worse.”

I shook my head slowly.

“No,” I said.

Adrian turned to me sharply. “Edrick, are you serious? This is dangerous. Anyone could trigger one of these.”

“I know,” I said, rubbing my forehead. “But if we take all this now, Leonardo will know we found it. He will disappear. He will move his plans. He will find another way to strike.”

Adrian exhaled, frustrated. “Then what do you want us to do?”

I stared at the bombs spread across the metal shelves. The wires. The circuits. One mistake and the entire building could go down.

“We disable everything,” I said. “Every bomb. Every explosive. Make all of the

ALINA’S POV“So you really are a slut,” my landlady spat, her voice sharp enough to cut skin. “Jumping from one man to another under my roof. You don’t even deserve my mercy.”I stood there, numb, my hands hanging uselessly by my sides. There was no point explaining. No point begging. Even if I screamed the truth until my throat bled, it wouldn’t change the way she was looking at me. like dirt that had somehow learned how to breathe.“I’ll leave,” I said quietly. My voice surprised me with how calm it sounded. “As soon as possible.”She laughed, a short, humorless sound. “Possible?” She shook her head. “You have thirty minutes.”My heart dropped.“Thirty minutes?” I echoed.“Thirty,” she repeated coldly. “If you’re not gone by then, he will throw your things out.”She gestured to the big man standing behind her, arms crossed, expression blank. He didn’t look at me like a person. I was just another task. The woman turned on her heel and walked away, leaving the door open behind her lik

  • Forced to Marry my Sister’s Fiancée    Regrets & Liqour

EDRICK’S POVThe banging dragged me out of sleep like a hammer to the skull. For a moment, I couldn’t tell if the sound was real or just my head splitting open from whatever cheap alcohol I’d drowned myself in the night before. My temples throbbed. My mouth tasted bitter. My chest felt heavy, like I’d slept with a stone on it.Bang. Bang. Bang.I groaned and forced my eyes open. The ceiling above me was wrong.Too low. Too plain. No chandelier. No familiar lines. No scent of the Vale mansion. My heart skipped as awareness crept in, slow and cruel. This wasn’t my room. The banging continued, louder now, impatient, violent.I turned my head, and froze. She was standing a few feet away from the bed, wrapped in a thin robe, her hair loose and disheveled, her face pale with panic. For half a second, my mind betrayed me.Aria?No.No.Alina.“Fuck,” I breathed.Memories crashed into me all at once, sharp and unforgiving. The bar. The alcohol. The anger. The streetlights blurring as I had no

  • Forced to Marry my Sister’s Fiancée    Guilt & Kisses

ALINA’S POVHis lips crashed into mine with a desperation that stole the air from my lungs. For a split second, I froze.I didn’t want this, not like this, not now, but my body reacted before my mind could catch up. Maybe it was shock. Maybe it was the weight of everything between us. Maybe it was the way his hands trembled, like he was holding on to the last thing keeping him upright.I hated myself for not pushing him away immediately. His kiss wasn’t gentle. It wasn’t the soft, careful kind I remembered from the island, when everything felt unreal and fragile and beautiful. This was messy. Urgent. Painful. His hands roamed without direction, gripping my arms, my waist, like he was afraid I’d disappear if he let go.“Edrick,” I whispered, then louder, panic creeping into my voice. “Edrick, stop.”He didn’t.I tried to pull back, pressing my palms against his chest, but it was like pushing against a wall. He was stronger than me, fueled by alcohol and rage and something broken deep i

  • Forced to Marry my Sister’s Fiancée    Stupid souls

ARIA’S POVIt felt useless sitting in the luxury when in reality, it wasn’t mine. Edrick still wasn’t mine. At least not the way I wanted him to be.I sat alone in the sitting room, my hands folded over my stomach, listening to the slow tick of the antique clock on the wall. Every second felt louder than the last. Night had already settled in, wrapping the Vale mansion in its usual cold silence, yet Edrick still hadn’t returned.Again.I told myself not to think too much about it. He was busy. He always was. But knowing that didn’t make the waiting any easier.“Maybe he’ll spend the night at the penthouse,” Hannah said casually as she walked in, placing a cup of tea on the table in front of me. “You know it’s closer to the office.”I clenched my jaw.Hannah, Edrick’s cousin, smiled the way she always did. Too polite. Too fake. Like she was doing me a favor just by existing in the same room. Like I should be grateful she was here. “It’s good for the baby,” she added, nudging the cup s

  • Forced to Marry my Sister’s Fiancée    All Because of me

ALINA'S POVI have never seen him look like this. Not once in the one month we spent together on the island. Not ever.Edrick stood in my doorway like a stranger wearing his face. His hair was messy, falling into his eyes, his usually crisp shirt wrinkled and half unbuttoned. The sharp, controlled presence he carried so effortlessly was gone. In its place was something raw. Unsteady. He smelled of cheap liquor. That alone should have told me everything. But the real problem wasn’t how terrible he looked. It wasn’t the alcohol clinging to him like a second skin. It was the simple, terrifying fact that he was here.My apartment. My address.“How…” My lips parted, but no words came out.How did he know where I lived? My heart pounded so violently I felt dizzy. I stood there frozen, clutching the towel tighter around my body, staring at him like if I blinked, he might disappear. He didn’t wait for an invitation. When it became clear I wasn’t going to move, he pushed the door open with hi

  • Forced to Marry my Sister’s Fiancée    Not Wanted Guest

ALINA’S POVIt was a long walk, but I made it.All the way from the embassy to my modest apartment, under a sky that felt too wide for someone whose world had completely collapsed. By the time I reached the building, it was already past nine at night. My legs were stiff, my feet sore, my head pounding from everything I had heard, everything I hadn’t been able to fix. This apartment,It wouldn’t even be mine by tomorrow. The thought pressed painfully against my chest as I climbed the stairs and unlocked the door. The place greeted me with silence and the faint smell of dust. I shut the door behind me and leaned against it for a second, breathing in and out slowly, as if that could stop the weight from crushing me.“Just one night,” I whispered to myself. “Just get through tonight.”I dropped my bag on the floor and dragged myself toward the bathroom. My body felt heavy, like it belonged to someone else. The only thing I wanted_no, needed, was a hot shower. Something to ease the ache in
