Chapter 7 - Smart Move

After receiving an order from General Rossini, she excused herself.

General Rossini and I have discussed how to keep this matter sealed and away from the public

I don't want my people to be thrown into confusion upon knowing about this accident.

Two hours later, we heard knocks on the door.

The door was opened by the guard and he was followed by the purple eyed beauty pushing a food trolley.

Knowing that she's academically excellent, I wondered what her food tasted.

"I should be going, Mr. President and enjoy your dinner," he saluted to me.

Before he turned to leave he winked at me.

This was General Rossini's first time to act like this, as if he was matchmaking.

No, I can't taint her. She's too innocent for me. She deserved better.

"Mr. President?" She called softly, drawing my attention.

I looked at her. Her crystal clear eyes were sparkling as they looked at me with anticipation.

"Feed me," I intended to speak in a cold manner but I was surprised that my voice sounded warm and gentle.

As expected, a smart girl like her took note of my tone.

A smile graced her lips which made her more beautiful.

She scooped the soup and lifted the spoon to my mouth.

My eyes never strayed at her while she fed me.

"Did you really cook?" I asked her, she nodded.

The food was up to my taste. I could even compare her to the chef in the presidential palace.

How could such a woman have it all? She's blessed with beauty and a brain.

And she could cook well. Like a professional chef.

Is she also endowed with great body as well?

The question that came across my mind made me look at her body.

She's wearing a loose shirt and baggy pants.

With the type of clothes she's wearing, I couldn't tell if she's with a beautiful body.

I enjoyed the food she prepared for me.

I wanted to eat more. However, it's already night so I shouldn't be eating much.

I raised my hand to stop her from feeding me.

There was disappointment in her eyes when I didn't want to eat more.

"I don't eat much at night," I told her and she nodded.

The disappointment in her eyes instantly faded.

This girl easily learn from her mistake, she put a straw in the bottled water.

Smart move, so as not to repeat what had happen earlier.

I felt like a king the way she attended to my needs.

She left with the food trolley and came back after a few minutes.

"Do you need anything, Mr. President?" She said to me, looking straight into my eyes.

What I like about her is that she acts normally in front of me.

She's not pretending to be shy to get my attention.

I've met many women who acted like shy women but deep inside they wanted to throw themselves to me and climb on my bed.

She isn't shy but not disrespectful.

She carried the demeanor of a brave soldier.

"Help me clean my body," I watched her closely to see any change in her reaction.

Her beautiful face didn't change a bit. No blushing cheeks. No dilated eyes. No gasping.

I now know why General Rossini was very proud of her.

"Take me to the bathroom, I want you to clean my lower body," I told her wanting to see if she will freak out.

But I was taken aback when she answered me. "Okay."

She helped me walk into the bathroom.

When we were in the shower. She removed my hospital gown.

I held her hand when she slip her finger in my waistband to remove my boxers.

She lifted her eyes to me with a questioning look.

"Are you not shy?" I was beginning to doubt if she has a hidden desire towards me.

Her lips twitched.

"Sir, I am a surgeon and working in the military base. I have seen numerous men's naked bodies," her answer made my blood boil.

I didn't know why I was so irritated by her answer.

"Get out! I'm going to call you when I'm done," my chest heaved up and down.

Tara's POV

When he told me that I was going to clean his lower body. My whole body got numb and coldness saturated me.

Good thing that I was always ready for whatever was thrown to me and I was able to face him calmly.

So when we were at the shower, I was really prepared to clean him as I set my mind that it's not different from doing a surgery.

Plus, I took this assignment from my superior so I can't fail him.

I was flabbergasted when he yelled at me and ordered me to get out.

I was wondering if I irritated him by the way I answered him.

"Alright, Mr. President. Please be careful and not make your injury wet," I left after reminding him of his injury.

Thirty minutes went by and he was still in the bathroom. So I began to worry and knock on the door.

"Mr. President, are you alright?" I asked when he didn't response to the knocking.

"Mr. President?

Once again, I called him.

"I'm done!"

My heart that was at my throat went back to its proper place when I heard his voice.

I open the door and help him sit on the bench so I could clean his upper body.

With so much care, I cleaned his body.

When I was done cleaning his body. I got worried when I noticed him breathing heavily.

"Mr. President? What's wrong, sir?" I asked.

Why was he breathing heavily when he was just sitting there?

"I'm fine, don't worry," he answered me but I was still worried.

"Are you sure, sir?"

"Take me to the bed, I want to rest now," he told me, so I led him to the bed.

To make sure that he was really fine. I held his wrist and checked his pulse.

It's normal but his skin was hot.

I couldn't just shrug about it. I check his temperature and was deeply perplex that he didn't have a fever.

I was sure that the thermometer was functioning well and the batteries are all new.

I tried to check my temperature and there's nothing wrong with the digits indicated.

"Mr. President, may I touch your forehead?" I said, I'm going nuts.

It's my first time to face this.

I sighed when his forehead was not hot.

I have to really make sure that he's fine. I checked his temperature again and it's normal.
