As Rosie stepped out of the office, she was greeted by Arabella's enthusiastic, yet accusatory, presence. Arabella jumped in front of her, clapping her hands together.
"You dirty woman!"
Rosie took a startled step back, her eyes widening in shock. But upon recognizing Arabella, she swiftly composed herself, a bright smile spreading across her face. "Look who we have here. It's the Muppet."
Arabella's face reddened with indignation. "How dare you!" She spluttered. "How dare you call me a Muppet! I'm not immature, I'm mature!"
Rosie nodded knowingly, a sly smile still plastered on her face. "The truth is always bitter, I didn't expect you to accept it easily," she uttered and took a step closer to Arabella. "Why are you here? Did you come all the way down here just to greet me?"
"Greet you?" Arabella repeated, scoffing. "Why'd I waste my time coming to greet you?"
Rosie's smile never wavered. "Okay, so why are you here?" She asked, her tone light and playful.
Arabella's response was immediate. "To teach you a lesson!"
Rosie's eyes widened in mock surprise. "To teach me a lesson?" She echoed, her hand on her chest.
Arabella nodded vigorously.
Rosie's gaze swept over her, and she burst into laughter. "Are you here by yourself, or did someone send you?"
Arabella's eyes flashed with determination. "I'm here by myself!" She declared, her voice firm. "I saw my brother drive into this company earlier. What are you doing together?"
Rosie's response was calm. "Go ask your brother."
Arabella's face twisted in anger. "Sure, I will. But before I do, I'll teach you a lesson first. You need to learn," she threatened. "If I don't teach you a lesson, you won't learn to stay away from other people's men,"
Her voice dropped to a whisper, her words tumbling out in a furious rush. "You whore. How can you be so shameless as to go near him again? How dare you still think of seducing him?"
Rosie's reaction was unexpected. She burst into laughter, her body shaking with mirth. She tried to speak, but the words caught in her throat, and she continued laughing.
Arabella's face reddened with anger. "Why? Why are you laughing?" she demanded, her eyes blinking in confusion.
Rosie finally managed to compose herself, her laughter subsiding into a sly smile. "Look who's treating others' fuck-ups," she said, her tone dripping with sarcasm.
Her expression was belittling, her gaze piercing. "What have you learned that you want to teach?" Rosie asked, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "You lack experience and manners. You lack a lot, so what will you teach me?"
"If anyone should teach someone a lesson, it's me beating you to a pulp, like I wanted to back then."
Arabella's eyes widened in shock, her face pale. Rosie's statement caught her off guard, but she refused to back down. "My brother divorced you because you cheated on–"
"Yes." Rosie interrupted, her voice calm.
Arabella's eyes flashed with surprise. "Hun!" She sounded, not expecting Rosie to admit.
Rosie's gaze was bold, her tone unwavering. "What? Is there a crime in admitting what I did?"
Arabella's face twisted in anger, her finger pointing accusingly at Rosie. "You this…" she started, her voice trailing off. Her eyes narrowed as she asked, "what exactly are you doing?"
Rosie's face contorted in mock confusion. "What are you talking about?" She asked, her tone dripping with sarcasm.
Arabella's frustration boiled over. "What!" She yelled, her voice rising in anger. "I'm asking what you're doing with Archie! You want to get back on him, right?"
Rosie nodded, her expression unapologetic. "Yes."
"Gosh!" Arabella exclaimed, her eyes flashing with indignation. She expected Rosie would deny it, but her confirmed worsened her suspicions. "You want to play a dirty trick on him, right?"
Rosie nodded, her tone matter-of-fact. "Yes."
Arabella's breathing quickened voice dropped to a low growl. "You and your dirty tricks."
Rosie's gaze turned icy, her voice dripping with menace. "Remember I warned you years ago to mind your manners when speaking with me?" She said, her tone cold and superior.
Arabella's response was defiant. "What will you do?" She challenged. "Will you beat me to a pulp and break my arms?"
Rosie discharged a soft breath. "I'm sorry this conversation can't continue. I've had a long day at work, so I'll leave now," she said, her tone light. "See you around."
Arabella's eyes narrowed. "Do you think I'll just watch you leave?" She asked, her tone challenging.
Rosie raised an eyebrow. "If you don't watch me leave, what'll you do?"
Arabella's snickered. "The worst." She declared, her hand rising to slap Rosie, but Rosie was quicker.
Rosie grabbed Arabella's hand and restrained her. "You and your silly moves again." She uttered, pinching Arabella's skin and twisting her wrist.
Arabella moaned in pain. "Let go!" She shouted, struggling to free herself.
Rosie released Arabella's hand aggressively, and Arabella stumbled backward, but Rosie quickly grabbed her cloth and pulled her closer, preventing her from falling to the ground.
Before Arabella could regain her balance, Rosie's hand connected with Arabella's right cheek."For then,"
Rosie said, slapping her left cheek. "For now,"
She followed up with a knock to Arabella's head. "You stupid fool."
Arabella yelled out in pain, tears rising to her eyes as she rubbed her cheeks and head. "How dare you!" She yelled, her voice trembling.
Rosie sighed, lifting her gaze to the sky before locking eyes with Arabella. "Wonder shall never end. You came to teach me a lesson, but I ended up teaching you a lot,"
Her expression turned serious. "Don't be stupid again. Don't act rashly around me next time."
Rosie glanced at the security guards at the entrance and snapped her fingers. "Come," she ordered, her voice authoritative.
Two guards rushed to her, their faces expressionless.
"Take her to the police station and tell them not to release her until an order comes from me." She instructed, her tone firm.
The guards nodded, bending their necks in obedience. They walked closer to Arabella, their movements swift.
Arabella's eyes widened in panic. "No, you can't do this to me! I'll call my brother, he'll make you pay for this." She cried out, struggling against the guards.
Rosie's smile was triumphant as she winked at Arabella. "Do that in police custody," she advised, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
The guards dragged Arabella away, her protests and threats fading into the distance as Rosie watched, a satisfied smile on her face.

"Rosie…" he began, his voice warm with familiarity.Rosie's expression shifted, her smile faltering for a moment before she regained her composure. "Moore Archie, let's maintain some boundaries?" A sleek car glided into the Maximo Investment parking lot, coming to a stop in front of the building's sleek glass façade. The door swung open, and a slender leg emerged, followed by the rest of Rosie's poised figure. As she stepped onto the ground floor, a collective murmur rippled through the staff, their eyes locking onto her like magnets. "That's her!" The lady beside her swiftly covered her mouth, her eyes wide with a mix of surprise and curiosity. The staff members nearby exchanged weighted glances, their faces a canvas of anticipation and concern. The hours had ticked by with agonizing slowness, each one stretching out like an eternity as Phoebe waited for Archie's return. Her mind was a maelstrom of emotions, her thoughts swirling in a maddening dance that refused to let her rest. As the clock struck 11 pm, the door finally swung open, and Archie trudged in, his face a map of exhaustion. The shadows under his eyes seemed to deepen as he walked past Phoebe, his gaze fixed on some point beyond her."Archie," she called out softly, her voice barely above a whisper, but he didn't respond. His footsteps dragged on, heavy with fatigue, as he made his way towards the stairs. Phoebe's heart skipped a beat as she sprang to her feet, her legs carrying her to his side in a swift, desperate bid to intercept him."Why–" she began, her words dying on her lips as he pushed her aside with a gentle yet firm touch. She stumbled backward, her palms grazing the sofa's cushioned surface as she fell. A soft "ouch!" escaped her lips, her eyes fla
