Ellyse couldn’t get herself to sleep that night. Her heart felt heavy and her mind was all over the place. It kept replaying the conversation she had with Kai and last words he uttered before he left. A part of her felt guilty for turning down his help. After all, his intentions were purely to help her. She just couldn’t get herself to do it, especially after seeing how she reacted after seeing their picture together. That night, she realized that she really hasn’t moved on from everything that happened between her and Kai.
