The next day

Quincy

I woke up late at exactly 7:51am "gosh am gonna be late for class" I screamed out loud as I dash into the bathroom to have my bath. I had a sleepless night yesterday cause "I mean how could my mom tell me to apologize, this is fucking stupid" I muttered to myself while I took my toothbrush to clean my mouth. Few minutes I was outside the bathroom I applied my lotion on my body, I went over to my closet and I wore my clothes hurriedly as I settled for a black crop top and a baggy jeans with my black sneakers, packed my hair in a messy bun and went downstairs 

"hi mom" I greeted and kissed her on the cheek and ran out even before she answered. I hailed a cab and got to school only to still see students everywhere meaning lectures hasn't started 

"geez quincy you're gonna give yourself an heart attack" my other self said I made way to my classroom. 

"Great he hasn't arrived yet so much for an apology, I fucking hate this idea" I muttered and made for my seat . after some minutes a noise suddenly started and girls were seen drooling and screaming making me look up from my book and behold it's joel alongside with noel and ricky. He had a white shirt on and a grey jacket, a black crazy jean and a white matching sneakers with a smirk on his lips looking like a bad boy 

"geez you've got to be kidding me" I muttered and rolled my eyes as he made to come over to his seat beside mine and our eyes locked while my eyes went to his lips and I saw the cut still fresh on his lips but I immediately look away 

"I'm sorry I caused this" I thought to my myself and I watch him moved away from my desk to ginger's own "morning babe" he said and held her waist closer to him making ginger giggles which was irritating 

"morning handsome" ginger replied "how did you get a cut on your lips?" She asked again after noticing the cut on his lips 

"ohh it's nothing, just a fight" he answered "OK then and I hope it's not what am thinking" she said. "Fine quincy it's now or never for mom's sake go apologize" I said to myself and I made to stand up when the teacher came in and the bell rang almost immediately signaling us for the first lecture which was biology. The class started fine and not until when giggles were heard from ginger and joel sitting next to her making me loose concentration and after an hour the class finally came to an end and break was next so I decided to go apologize to joel but he was nowhere to be found and after enough search I made up my mind to go to the library. 

I was on my way to The library when i saw ginger resting her back on the wall while joel leaned on the wall sharing a passionate kiss "irritating" I thought and the idea of apologize went off my head as I walked past them to the library. I was searching for a particular book when my best friend gianna came to me.

"look what I found" she said immediately she came to me stretching forth her phone for me to see and I slowly took the phone from her reading the headline out loud which says

"POPULAR HANDSOME NEWBIE SPOTTED WITH THE POPULAR CHEERLEADER GINGER KISSING BEHIND THE LIBRARY" and I laughed after reading it 

"seriously" I said and handed back her phone to her and went straight to have my seat 

"ahh.......quincy it should be you and not that bitch" she said and came to sit at the other side of the table and I gave her a questioning look 

"why me?" I asked "cause you guys are seat pathners babe you should get closer to him more and not ginger" she answered " I mean you should get close to him at least he is cute" she added making me look up from my book and faced her raising my eyebrows and stare at her which she immediately understood the message I try to pass "right you are the no love life type but quincy this is different-" She tries to talk but I interrupted her 

"enough Gigi" I said and stood up "quincy you have to listen to me you can't bring up your past to your present "she said and made to move closer to me but I moved away "pls quincy stop acting cold towards guys and listen to me okay" she said and I gave a sigh then she pulled me into a hug 

"it gonna be okay"she whispers as  we disengaged from the hug and I gave a smile "I'm starving I need food" she said and her stomach gave a loud sound immediately making us laugh yep that Gianna for you I thought as we exited the library to the cafeteria.

Few weeks after

I woke up late and I was quick to dress up I packed my books and left home skipping breakfast all though the weeks had been rough and now am late again. I got to school and there was no one left at the hallway 

"I'm so dead" I said to myself as I ran down the hallway I was about to turn right towards my class when I bumped into someone making our books fall 

"am so sorry" I said as I made to pack the books "it's okay I guess we weren't watching where we are going" she answered and I looked up to see a redhead girl with glasses flashing me a smile 

"oh I'm kenzi" she said stretched her hand for an handshake 

"I'm quincy" I said receiving the handshake "you're a newbie right?" I asked making her chuckles 

"yeah I'm new here and am looking for the principal office" she answered "I can show you if you want to" I said and smiled "oh that will be great thanks" she said "I will just...." She added trying to pack her books and I helped her in packing it also then we both stood up and went to the principal office "alright bye" I said and left her while she waved. I was so caught up in the moment forgetting that I have a class to catch up with and quickly I made to run to class

"LATE AGAIN MISS ANDERSON' mrs plummer the french teacher yelled as soon as I stepped into the class making me glup nothing down my throat "I'm so doomed" I said to myself as I stood motionless where I was.
