Chapter 12

Soheila knocked twice at the door in front. After eating, she went straight to her teacher's office. And now, she's in front of it.

“Come in.” A warm voice coming from the inside suddenly can be heard.

When Soheila heard that, she twisted the knob and went inside.

“Good morning, teacher Andronicus.” Soheila politely greeted the man in front of her. She just stood in front of the counter as she saw her teacher busy checking some documents.

Pierre looked up. “Ah, you're now here. Please sit.” He gestured his hand to Soheila to sit on the chair in front of the counter.

Soheila sat quietly as she looked at her teacher and asked straightforwardly, “So, teacher, why did you want me to come here to your office?”

The teacher, Pierre was speechless on how straightforward Soheila is. He coughed twice as he shows a red jade pendant and said, “Do you recognized this?”

Soheila looked at it and was taken aback. The jade pendant was extremely familliar to her. That was the jade pendant similar to what she got from the spirit ring that came from her mother.

She hesitated but still nodded. “Yes, I am. May I ask why you have this?”

The teacher, Pierre smiled. “I am a friend of your father. Although I didn't know where he was right now, still he entrusted me to take care of you. He passed a message to me not too long ago saying that his daughter is here. I saw you yesterday at the library, and you got the same aura as your father, so, I guessed that it is you, his daughter.”

Soheila was speechless on his explanation. That was too straightforward! If she was straightforward then, what is he?

She looked at him and asked, “Huh? Do you think I would believe you that easily? Who the hell would trust someone they just met? Moreover, I just came in and you straightforwardly said: I am your father's friend. Life what the hell?” She didn't mind if this is her teacher.

Pierre laughed as he expected this. “Well, this jade pendant was from your father and I know where you came from.”

Where you came from...

That sentence made Soheila's mind blank! But composed herself and asked, “Where then?”

“From the 28th century.” He smirked after he said that.

“How did you know?” Soheila calmly said.

Pierre was pleased with how calm Soheila is. If this is someone they should be panicking. “How did I know? Your father told me. However, he didn't tell me how you got there.”

“Okay,” Soheila nodded her head. “So, what do you need?”

“Your father entrusted me to you. He said I should take care of you when you're still here. Just be careful, Soheila. Don't trust people easily. Remember that.” Pierre's aura suddenly changed. It became serious, he looks like a parent warning his kids.

Soheila saw his worried and serious look, so, she nodded and smiled sincerely. “Thank you for your reminder. Although I can't trust you right now, I could, someday.”

“I know. I'll wait for the day you'll trust me.” Pierre liked how mature Soheila is. He was pleased with how calm Soheila when she found out that he knows where she came from

“Of course, don't trust people easily, you said.” Soheila laughed a little. Soheila could see his sincerity in his eyes. It was not a lie. And he knows where she comes from that only her parents know. The jade pendant also is from her parents. She received one when she looked at all the things inside her spirit ring. A piece of paper was stick on it, and it says that the jade pendant was for her.

What really caught Soheila's attention was when he knew where she comes from. Her parents should have high trust in him that they could easily tell him where she came from. She felt a familiar feeling when she met him. As if they met already before, but she couldn't remember.

“You still have class, you should go now. Thanks for your time.” Pierre Andronicus smiled slightly at Soheila.

“Ah, yes.” Soheila was quite dazed when she said that. She was thinking about a lot of things such as her parents.

Soheila left the office as she thinks about her parents again.

She still doesn't know where her parents at. All she knew is that they are at the Upper Realm. Soheila needs more clues, and her new teacher, Pierre Andronicus came claiming that he's the friend of her friend.

Maybe...

Soheila's eyes lit up when she remembered something. “Maybe, he is that someone that urges me to enroll here. But how did he get here that fast?”

Soheila was blank again that she didn't notice that she entered her second class.

Sirene saw Soheila walking towards them with a blank face. She called her twice, but Soheila seems to be deaf when she just directly sat beside Sirene with a blank face.

Sirene stopped calling Soheila as she noticed that Soheila was in deep thought. The five birds also noticed Soheila, and just let her be. They didn't want to disturb her.

“It's good that our teacher is not here yet.” Zachary suddenly said.

“Well, I hope there's no class. I heard we can get out of the academy. We should go somewhere later.” Hector suggested.

“Yes, that would be nice! Where should we go?” Sirene excitedly said as her eyes twinkled.

“I don't know. Where do you guys want to go?” Hector turned his head to ask the others.

“Back home would be good,” Luna suggested.

When they heard it, their eyes grew wide. They never expected Luna to suggest they go to that place.

“Imperial Palace? Are you sure?” Sirene asked.

Luna turned to her. “Yes, I gave father a message yesterday that I have six roommates. So, he suggested that I should you guys over.”

“What?!” Soheila, Hector, and Zachary shouted at the same time. Even Maximo and Ezekiel were speechless.

Meanwhile, Soheila who heard the shout suddenly flinched. She turned her head and said confusedly, “Huh? What, what?

To that sudden voice, they all turned their heads to that someone who just came back to her senses.

“Welcome back!” Sirene and Zachary teased at the same time.

Soheila laughed. “Thank you! Hahaha!” She joined them.

Soheila looked at them with questioning eyes. “Well, what were you guys talking about?”

Hector laugh so hard. “Soheila, you didn't hear us even when we were just beside you. You were in deep thought since you came from teacher Pierre's office. What? Are you shock that he told you that he fell in love with you?” Hector remembered Zachary's joke before they eat.

With that tease coming again, Soheila glared at Hector while the others laugh.

“You crazy vendor! Come on, don't change the topic! Tell me what you were guys talking about?” Soheila jokingly glared at Hector.

They burst out laughing when they listened to Soheila and Hector's teasing conversation.

“Hahaha! It was like this, Hector suggested that after school we should go out somewhere. Then, Luna suggested that we should go to the Imperial Palace since her father invited us there.” Sirene finally explained.

Soheila listened and looked at Luna. “Are you sure we're allowed? I mean, you don't know where we came from, and same to her.” Soheila was pertaining to Sirene who just suddenly showed up to the forest just like her.

“Yes, I am certain! Have trust in me.” Luna said to Soheila as she smiled slightly that she looks more beautiful. Her smile was so warm that could melt someone's heart.

“I will,” Soheila said to Luna to confirm that she trusts her.

“We will.” Sirene put her left hand around Soheila's shoulder.

“Yes,” They simultaneously agreed.

Although they were just together not long ago, they could feel familiarity and bond when together.

“By the way, why is the teacher not here yet? He's late for more than ten minutes now.” Soheila all of sudden said as she saw that a teacher was not present yet.

“I wish he would not come. I want to rest or just sleep.” Sirene said with her lazy voice.

“Same!” Soheila agreed when she proudly said that. And she raised her hand to high-five Sirene. Sirene did the same as they made a clap sound.

Sirene's wish came true as the teacher did not appear. They attend the last two classes. And after their last class, the sun was descending from its peak to the sky pertaining that it was already afternoon.

“So, should we go now? The carriage will soon arrive.” Luna said to them when they were now in front of the Academy golden gate.

“Yup, we have nothing to do anyway, right?” Sirene asked them.

They all simultaneously nodded, except for Soheila who hesitated for a moment because she was about to go to the library to read books again and again. But this will be their first time to get out together. It will be fun.

Suddenly a white carriage with a coachman and a Knight beside it appeared. On the back of the carriage, were four horses with Knights riding ln them. The Knights went down from their horses to simultaneously bow down their heads with their left hand on their chest as a symbol of respect.

The Knight beside the coachmen went down as well and bow his head.

“Rise.” With that one word, they all finally stand straight.

The Knight beside the coachmen opened the carriage and offer his hands.

Luna held the Knight's hand and turned her head to her friends. “Hop on!”

Luna went inside, and they one by one did the same with the help of the Knight.

The carriage inner look was elegant and graceful. It was also huge and has more space. The seat was soft and has two small pillows on the side. There were even candies, chocolates, and chips on the side of the carriage.

“So, this is royalty,” Soheila said. This was similar back on earth except that it was a car, not a carriage. Soheila was a famous person back on earth, she was also the CEO of a huge company. She experiences this kind of thing back on earth, but she used a car that time with a red carpet on the floor.

The Carriage moved after they all get in.

“Yes, it is too hassle since we got the attention of the students nearby.” Luna was frowning when she saw the students looking at them from outside the carriage.

“It really is. Well, they don't mind their own business. In just ten minutes, the Third Princess left with the Four Young Masters and two girls that came from nowhere would spread around the Academy.” Soheila said as she gazed at the students from the window.

“And that will get the attention of...” Sirene said. They all are smart, so, they knew who she was talking about.

“It would take like an hour before we arrived at the Academy.” Maximo who was beside Zachary said.

“Yes, it's not that long. We could have time for us to get to know each other more.” Hector said.

The four boys were on the other side of the sofa while the three girls were on the other side.

“Sure, well what do you guys wanna know?” Soheila asked them.

“Hmm... What happened back then when you had gone to our teacher's office?” Hector asked.

“Eh, nothing special. How about you? Why were you selling skewers? and you even have a troubled look when I tossed out a coin.”

Zachary laughed when he heard what Soheila said.

Hector was embarrassed and said, “Well I lost a bet with them, and I didn't bring extra change so that's why I was troubled when you tossed out a gold coin.”

“Ah, so that skewer was from him,” Sirene remembered that she ate a lot of skewers when she and Soheila first met.

“Yep,” Soheila said.

“So, Ezekiel, I never heard you talk a lot. Why though?” Sirene looked at the silent Ezekiel.

Ezekiel didn't expect that Sirene would ask him. He looked at her and answered, “Too lazy.”

“Yeah, I could feel it. You have a gentle look, yet your cold.” Sirene jokingly said.

“You are right! Look how his face looks gentle. His white hair feels like gentle snow. Ezekiel, your skin is so pale! You should wear white clothes then we'll see which one is whiter.” Soheila also teased Ezekiel. She and Sirene burst out laughing with matching high-fives.

Ezekiel rolled his eyes as he just smirks slightly. Maximo and the others listened to every tease did Soheila and Sirene said to Ezekiel. They wanted to laugh, but afraid that Ezekiel would get mad at them. However, it appears that Ezekiel did not get mad at all even when Soheila and Sirene kept teasing him. He just had a smirk on his face then sometimes rolling his eyes.

“Okay, okay, stop laughing. Ehem... Ehem... So, Luna did you already choose someone to marry?” Soheila was now teasing Luna. She had a wide smirk on her delicate face.

To that question, everyone gazed at Luna. Luna who felt the gaze cough awkwardly.

She slightly glared at Soheila. “I told you, guys, that I do not want to get married yet.”

“Really? Okay, I'll try my best to trust your words. How about you guys? Do you love someone?” Soheila's question catches their attention.

“None,” Ezekiel said directly to Soheila's eyes and retracted his gaze.

“Ooh, should I believe that? Just kidding. Okay, so how about you Hector?”

Ezekiel looked at Hector to listen to what he'll say. Hector's face flushed as he said, “None, right now.”

Soheila nodded, and understand something about that look.

“None, as well.” Zachary and Maximo said at the same time.

Soheila was quite disappointed to hear their answers. “You guys are too boring. You don't like someone? Even if it's the appearance?”

“Well, how about you?”

Soheila and Sirene asked at the same time when they looked at each other.

“You go first,” Soheila said.

Sirene just laughed and shook her head. “Well, none, too. Hahaha! I'm a busy person, you know?”

“That's sad and boring too.”

“How about you?” Sirene asked again to Soheila.

Soheila stopped for a moment and thought about the handsome man that she had saved back in the forest. But she just likes the appearance of that person, and not counted as love.”

Soheila shrugged her shoulders and said, “Hahaha! Well, I guess we all don't love someone.”

Sirene and the others are smart. So, they knew that Soheila doesn't love someone.

“It doesn't matter. We have a busy life.” Luna said as she glances outside the window.

“I agree.” They all agreed at the same time.

Twelve'Oclock
