Gwen's povFlashback…I was so devastated when I woke up , I could hardly remember a thing . My head hurt like crazy. My brows creased in pain as I held my head . I squinted my eyes to help ease the stinging pain in my head .I sat up on the bed , the blankets rolled off my body . I realized I was partly naked , my dress was off my body .I was only in my undergarments . In shock , I grabbed the sheets and covered myself up quickly .I was confused, I panicked. Did it happen again? Has someone taken advantage of me? I asked myself. My vision became blurry, tears had welled up in my eyes against my will.I recalled how I got here .I had dared to believe Ava , I had dared to pity Ava . I had dared to try to see good in Ava . She had tricked me .Why ? I asked myself . What happened to me the previous night? I brainstormed my head for an answer.Just then , Ava walked into the room with a triumphant smile plastered on her face.My brows creased in a frown as I folded my fist in anger .

Ava's POVI walked into Gwen's partly open bedroom, unsure of what I was doing. I could only pray she wouldn't suspect a thing. "What are you doing here?." She asked me frostily, staring at me. I brushed the mane of my horse maximus. It was thick brown and shiny, it glowed beneath the sunlight. Maximus was a gift from my mom before she passed away. She was all I had.I wondered how she was faring over there, her heart was probably swelling with pride.Her son had turned out attractive and quite a catch. I was standing by the riverside that night when Ava came to me. She was convulsing in tears. I stared at her expressionless and disinterested as I felt. She froze from my stare, she looked scared.
