CHAPTER 10

"Hi, Mom!" Kenzo said to Agatha who just sat like a statue, on the edge of the bed.

Agatha's eyes looked blank and seemed to be daydreaming about something. Kenzo took a deep breath.  But he tried to carve a smile on his lips and he closed the bedroom door.

Then Kenzo walked towards the window, he glanced at the small garden where there were red roses down there. The atmosphere of spring this morning made the flowers bloom beautifully.

Kenzo knows very well that his mother likes to spend his time with the flowers, before his father's betrayal happened and ruined their moment together.

The flowers even became silent witnesses in every activity of their family in the morning, long ago.

The tender kiss that his father gave on his mother's forehead ...

A gentle rub on the top of Kenzo's head as proof of a father's love for his son ...
