Chapter 70 Distinguishing her targets

“Hey, babe! How are mom and dad?” Marlyn greeted Lexy chirpily.

He knew where to find Lexy as he had a copy of her daily schedule. So he went to her class to sit beside her since it was his vacant time. They attentively listened to the professor during the lecture, but Marlyn did not wait until they got out of the lecture theater.

“Just like how you left last time,” Lexy sighed. She forced a smile as she put her things back into her sling bag. She had her mini laptop with her and a small memo notebook to jot down notes that she would need to check with ease with just a flip of a page; unlike a notepad on her laptop, she would need to activate the whole thing before she can have a glimpse of whatever she wants to check on. But aside from a small notebook, pen, wallet, phone, and laptop, there was nothing more in her bag.

“Everything will be fine, don’t worry so much,” Marlyn stood up before Lexy and extended his right hand for Lexy to grab as she stood up to walk out of the classroo
