Chapter 38 - The Aftermath

He swiftly ran towards me and he successfully knocks off Smith to the ground. After doing that, he hugged me so tight. He wouldn't let me go, as if he wanted that hug so badly. 

"Uhm, can we get out of here first?" I quickly pushed Kyros due to embarrassment and that made him fall on his butt. 

I was planning to help him after realizing what I did. But all of a sudden, he stood up immediately and hid me behind his back. 

"Do you think this ends here?" I shuddered in fear after hearing Mr. Smith's voice. 

I tried to look at his face, he has bruises and his left arm is bleeding. I thought Kyros already knocked him unconscious.
