Chapter 43 - Moving Forward
I ran towards the familiar person in hopes of finding the right gift for Alexis whom I'm not close with. Basically, I'm not close with anyone. I was too busy minding myself before okay.
"Alexis!" I called his name and I saw how he flinched but he immediately ran away from me. Why the hell is he running away?
Because of my natural competitiveness, I chased him until I finally got him. We both gasp for air after running like madmen inside the mall. I'm glad the security didn't label us as crazy.
"L-Lili, why did you chase me?" He asked. I was astonished after hearing his voice. I think this is the first time that I've heard his voice.
