Chapter XII

It was morning at the Green Hills and I woke up to see the campfire already smoldering, I looked at Sonic, Shadow, Birdie (Boscage Maze) and Maria Robotnik “Morning Inkcanius, Shadow said to me you’ll get me up to speed on what is going on here” said Sonic, I nodded in response, “yes I will. Corona Virusknife took over my sanctuary while back at Planet Earth, Meridia created a portal at the Scarborough Amphitheatre and told me what happened to my sanctuary, now I’m here once again to stop Corona and save my sanctuary” I said, Sonic was amazed, “so you created Planet Harmony… I see” said Sonic, looking at me “thanks for saving me back there” he said. “You’re welcome Sonic” I said, I looked at Thorn Rose, Mangey Tails walking towards us “where were you two?” I asked them “we just went back to Sonic’s place to get our stuff” Thorn explained, Mangey Tails jumped on me “miss me?” I giggled, Mangey nods, I stroke Mangey Tails “untamed yet so adorable” I said Mangey purrs.

I turned around to see a massive yellow wisp, angry and under Corona’s control “its the drill wisp it used to be an ally to Sonic back at Sonic Colours now Corona has brainwashed it to stop me” I said, Sonic was in tears and shock to see the yellow drill wisp now massive and angry ready to stop me. My group and I get ready to fight against the massive yellow drill wisp.

Back at Shattered Inkopolis. Emperor was looking over the land that he destroyed, Maeka looked at Emperor, holding Solaris’ necklace. Maeka then sees another inkling revived by Emperor, her name was Black Rose. “Planning to lash out at me after what I have done long ago?” said Emperor with a sigh. Black Rose and Maeka were shocked to hear what Emperor said, Black Rose and Maeka didn’t say a word. “Who’s this inkling?” Black Rose asked Maeka. “Emperor, one of Arnold’s inkling characters he created” said Maeka. “Its Inkcanius Maeka” Emperor interjected.

“Inkcanius!? That’s his name its not Arnold anymore” said Maeka, “yes Maeka. His official name is Inkcanius Splatoonus, he has plans to head back to Terminus after saving his sanctuary” said Emperor “why Emperor?” Black Rose asked Maeka, Emperor sighed “Terminus is now Inkcanius’ permanent home watching the Infinitiverse from afar vowing not to his own friends again after the fallout of the mention controversy” he explained. Black Rose and Maeka were shocked and worried about Inkcanius. “For now I’ll continue looking for more inkling friends to search and revive, Inkcanius doesn’t like it to talk about the mention controversy. 

“All this time we thought that Arnold went missing but no, he’s been living alone in Terminus after the mention controversy back at ‘19-’21. And vows not to see his friends again. But its enough to make everyone within the Infintiverse worry about Inkcanius. Doey from Poppy Playtime said to me that he, Jack, Matthew and Kevin saw Inkcanius sleeping below a horse statue located at the centre of Spirit Avenue. Uber-Massive dense city area where all characters from all games, tv shows, anime, movies and etc from past to present. Earlier Sora, protagonist of Kingdom Hearts and Sephiroth, antagonist of Final Fantasy VII wanted to hang out with Inkcanius Splatoonus but they can’t find him, worried about him” said Maeka.

Black Rose and Maeka look at each other completely worried about Inkcanius “I asked Karuji Bikinilaugh, Leader of Inkcanius’ Friendly Strangers Gang about his whereabouts but nothing, he does come here to the Friendly Strangers Hideout at certain days but he’s mostly out there doing things alone” Black Rose explained. Maeka and Black Rose look up to see Terminus, Inkcanius’ home “he’s somewhere in Planet Harmony, the very land we are stepping on saving his sanctuary but after that he’s going to head back to Terminus. All because of the mention controversy, harming his friends back during ‘19-’21. Now he’s isolating himself because of what he did? I’m not sure what Inkcanius is doing is rather harsh and cruel against himself, just thinking about it makes me worry… I know a few of our friends still have a grudge about Inkcanius to this day but seeing Inkcanius isolated and vowing himself not to see us and his friends again. I don’t know we are his friends” said Black Rose. “I know Black Rose it makes me worry to, we will talk to Emperor about Inkcanius once he gets back” said Maeka.
