Chapter XI

I looked up to see egg bots, lots of egg bots. Not just any egg bots, viral egg bots “I know Corona is fucking laughing, she’ll regret it!!” I shouted, Shadow was shocked to see how personal it was between me and Corona. “I know that Corona took over your sanctuary but I don’t let your anger control you… channel it okay, she’ll regret what she did to your fateful sanctuary” said Shadow. I smiled “thanks Shadow” I said with a smile. Shadow and I looked at the sun setting over the Green Hills “I never knew that my fight against Sonic dragged on for that long.” I said with shock, Shadow chuckled “same with me, come on let’s set up camp” he said, looking at me carrying Sonic still unconscious. So Shadow and I walked towards the Green Hills loop, once we arrived Shadow and I made camp when night fell. Shadow sat down and see me looking at my X-Blade before sheathing it “Inkcanius I have a question” said Shadow “what’s your question? Shadow” I said, “every single character was worried about you, like you vanished into the wind were you?” said Shadow with worry.

“I was in Terminus, my current home. I moved there after the fallout of my infamous Mention controversy, the reason why I was there is because I vowed myself not see my friends again and rather see myself fade into obscurity like a forgotten relic of a bygone era” I confessed. Shadow was shocked about my confession. It was mirroring the mention controversy back in 2019 at Planet Earth. “I see… if Inkcanius Splatoonus is your inkling name, what’s your actual name?” Shadow asked. I closed my eyes and began to morph into my human form “my actual name is Arnold… Arnold Pontilan Alviar II or Arnold II Alviar. I was the one that created Planet Harmony and the locations in my own Infinitiverse Mythos” I said, Shadow was shocked “so you’re Arnold… a human from Planet Earth” said Shadow. I then morph back as Inkcanius “yes that’s right and Planet Harmony is my best creation yet while the Infinitiverse is my canvas” I said.

Shadow was the only character that seen my true form. Shadow turned around to see Sonic getting up “ow my head… Shadow?” said Sonic with shock “hey Sonic, Corona brainwashed you and weren’t in control of yourself” said Shadow. Sonic then turned to see me “who’s the inkling?” said Sonic with a confused tone “this is Inkcanius Splatoonus; Watcher of Planet Harmony, Fusion of Protagonist and Architect of the Infinitiverse” said Shadow. “My reputation precedes me Shadow” I said, “true architect, anyway with should get some rest. Its going to be a long journey to stop Corona Virusknife, Inkcanius’ usurper. Inkcanius will get up to speed by morning Sonic" said Shadow looking at Birdie (Boscage Maze), Maria Robotnik and Nexus.

I looked at Nexus, a wolf with 4000 Crystal and Gemstone-like tails wearing Black Crop Top paired with a V-String Thong with Garters and with Spiked Choker, Spiked Shoulder Pads., Spiked Arm Bracelets, Fingerless Gloves, Spiked Knee Pads, Spiked Leg Bracelets connected to his His Spiked Shoes with chains, Tail Spiked Bracelets for all 4000 crystal and gemstone-like tails and Facemask; all accessories uniformly coloured in black with a Paradox Prism heart. Then Nexus and I did a dap up and Nexus turned into light. Sonic, Shadow, Birdie (Boscage Maze) and Maria Robotnik were shocked that Nexus vanished, then I morphed into my Sonic Form AKA Nexus “no way…” said Sonic, I looked at 4000 crystal-like tails. “You’ll get used to it” I said. Then Sonic, Shadow, Birdie (Boscage Maze), Maria Robotnik and I slept around the campfire.

Back at Shattered Inkopolis, Emperor was on top of the Shattered Tokyo Tower. He turned to left to see a female inkling alive and sleeping. Back from the dead. Her name, was Maeka. “Inkcanius and I didn’t have the best time, interacting with our so-called friends after the fallout of the mention controversy. But it doesn’t hurt to try.” said Emperor sitting on the ground looking over the entire area of Shattered Inkopolis. Maeka slowly wakes up and looked herself shocked that she was back in the realm of the living, she then sees Emperor getting up “Although Inkcanius and I vowed not to see our friends again after the fallout… it will change due to an unfortunate change of events. Inkcanius’ sanctuary would be taken over and usurped by Corona Virusknife while I come back here despite being marked as a criminal when I silenced the community I knew of and detonated the infamous Killswitch.” said Emperor. Maeka was shocked to see Emperor now reformed after he silenced the very community he knew during Emperor’s Hidden Anger (the mini story). “My path to atonement… continues” he said, but as he was to head off, he felt a hand on his shoulder, he turned around to see Maeka… Emperor was shocked. “Emperor… I never knew you would revive me” said Maeka. Emperor didn’t say a word then looked out the horizon of Shattered Inkopolis “Inkopolis… now shattered by you and Solaris” said Maeka, “not to mention forever marked as a criminal… hence I vowed myself to make amends” said Emperor. Maeka hugs Emperor, “although I can’t do anything, I will support you in spirit, by the way what happened to Inkcanius after the fallout” Maeka asked.

“My creator… he was located in Terminus vowed not to see his friends again and rather fade into obscurity before everything changed when Corona took over his sanctuary” Emperor confessed. “Inkcanius lives at Terminus… alone?!” said Maeka, Emperor nodded. “Yes it was too much for my creator to handle hence he lives at Terminus to this very day” said Emperor, then Emperor jumps off and went to find and revive more of Inkcanius’ former friends.
