He knew what she was going to say before she even said the words. “Mom, if Corrine wanted me to join her, she wouldn’t have left me behind.”
She raised her left eyebrow and folded her arms over her chest. “Jace, we will talk about this after the wedding.”

She grabbed him by the arm and made him escort her inside. The two of them walked in the doors to see the rest of their pack standing around waiting for the ceremony to get underway. When they see their Luna coming in, with the future alpha they all greeted them with a smile. Jace tried to shy away from them. But one member clapped him on the back and grabbed his hand in a handshake. Ileana spoke in the soft tone she always did. “The ceremony will be starting we should shed our human façade now and be the wolves we are meant to be.”
